Window opens tomorrow to make FPs..
Our flight arrives at 11am, hope to be at hotel by 1pm (no checked bags) and in Epcot by 2:00.

We really only need the tier 1 options..
Do we have to make 3 FP (2 tier 2 and 1 tier 1) in order to try and nab another after completing all 3 or can we just plan one tier 1 and try and add another after we ride that one?
Strategically, should I just make 2 tier 2 for the times before we enter park, then hit tier one when we arrive- won’t the first two expire or are we penalized for not using the first two?

This whole tier system confuses me- we are 5 adults and only in parks 4 days- so really the tier 1s are our priority...(like many)...any tips would be great, the rest of the days won’t be so hard to plan bc we can use FP early, but coming in mid-day reduces our chances of trying to score a second tier 1.

Thanks!!!

In the same park, yes. You may find the first page of the FP FAQ helpful.

1) Yes, you have to make 3 fast passes before you can book another tier 1 as your fourth.
2) Yes, that's the best approach. Expiration should count the same as if you used them and will allow you to book your 4th FP after you tap in for your 3rd (tier 1) FP.
