Please tell us what camera you used. I took some pictures at MNSSHP and all the lights and colors you captured so beautifully came out fuzzy and out of focus if it came out at all. Thanks so much!

Hi! I used a Canon 20D with an image stabilized lens. I was able to push the ISO up to 1600, and the IS allowed me to hand-hold it for an incredibly long 1/5 sec. I have plenty of blurry photos, too, but I did get lucky with a few. Here's another:

Awesome pictures!! I tried to convince DH to go to MNSSHP on 9/22 when we are there, but he didn't want to.

But, I was wondering, do they decorate the park just for the party or is it decorated all the time?

I love Fall, and Halloween is my second favorite holiday (behind Christmas) and I would love to see MK decorated with pumpkins and scarecrows etc.

I believe they decorate the park each evening for each MNSSHP. However, this year MK doesn't close until 7pm to day guests on the party nights and the party itself starts at 7pm (there are many threads about this madness!!) so it's very likely that the CMs will be putting up the party decorations while day guests are still in MK! So if you're doing MK during your trip, try to make it a day that has a MNSSHP that night so you'll hopefully get to see it in its halloween splendour!

When we were there in 2003, there were some pumpkins out here and there around the park. The circle at the fron t end of Main Street USA had hay bales and pumpkins laid out each day we were there, not just at the party.

The party did have quite a few more, but you definitely got the Fall feeling from the decorations that were there during the day as well.


At least we did. We thought it was cool.

our camera was stolen the day after we wre at mnsshp last year, does anyone have a shot of the villain girls (the dancers in red) the posed for us as a group but then the camera was stolen so no more pics

What fab pictures !

Ive emialed Disney to complain about the lack of time to "sweep" all the non paying guest out. i hope they do close at 6pm, so they have time to pupt up all the decs!

I am soo jealous, we are going in January for the first time ever and DH doesnt know it, but im gonna try and get us back Oct. 07 for the halloween party. We really wanted to go this Oct. but were unable to work it out. IM SOOO JEALOUS, halloween is my favorite time of year!

This is absolutely GORGEOUS TwoOldPoohs!.. I must tell you that it makes an awesome wallpaper!... hope you don't mind...
We will be going on Sept. 15th, and hopefully I'll get some pics half as good as yours!!!!
I have an Olympus FE-120 digital... It's a great little camera, but I haven't gotten to test it out on anything that would give me an idea as to how well it will do with shots like that one... It's got a bunch of different settings... hopefully I find the right one!..
