Please share your AAA rate for POP in August!

We are getting into the nitty-gritty stages of planning now....while the best econimical deal for us is 9 nights at POP....DH just can't sleep in the beds. He is willing to stay for a few nights, and then switch to the Dolphin at the 129 rate. I am secretely trying to pull off thepOly for the last 5 nights of our stay as an Anniversary surprise for DH. BUT...AS ALWAYS...the budget rears it's ugly head and laughs at me. So....I currently have the Poly booked for the last 5 nights, but need to book POP for the beginning. What are you guuys paying?

You can do the math yourself to find out what it would be

20% off values and moderates during value season
15% off deluxe

15% off values and moderates during regular and peak season
10% off deluxe

No discount during holiday season

Don't forget to add the 11.5% sales tax to all the resorts except All Stars which is 13%

Don't know when you are going in August - but the rates usually go down around the end of August (maybe 27th). I have booked through AAA and instead of paying $88.00 per night at Pop - the AAA discount brought it down to $63.00. I booked through CRO and asked for the AAA discount.

We're getting POFQ for about $132 during regular season.

FWIW, you can check rates through the AAA Colorado website without being a member or even creating an account. If it prompts you for a zip code, use 80002 (or any CO zip code).

Thanks all, looks like the rate would be about 84 pre tax per night for our dates, 8/11- 14...would love the $63 rate..but scholl starts the 28th so......we decided to book using up AA miles that are due to expire...so no $$$ out of pocket for 4 nights...YAY!
