Please share a Chili recipe

My DH is the cook in our house, but I said I would make Chili (I am not sure what I was thinking). I have been searching online, but really not having much luck. Does anyone have a fairly easy recipe to share??

I did make a great chili and here is the link to the site I used. Although I must say I wouldn't use as much onion as it says. I did and had alot of onion in it. www.bettycrocker.com the name of the chili is Chili for a crowd!! I'm trying to get the direct link but it's not working for me right now!

I make very simple chili.

brown hamburger with some onion

Add to it:

one can tomato soup
one can mushroom soup (no water added to either)
dump some ketchup in maybe 1/4 cup
sprinkle of garlic powder
add beans of some sort
and chili powder to taste

or instead of the beans and chili powder, I just mix in a can of store bought chili and maybe some extra red kidney beans if you like lots of bean.


There you go chili the quick and easy way. Serve with buttered toast.

Brown 1-2 lbs of hamburger

Pour in crock pot and add:

2 cans of Chili beans (I prefer Bush's best)
1 can Ro-Tel Tomatoes
1 can regular diced tomatoes (2 cans of Ro-Tel if you are adventureous)
1 pkg of Chili mix (French's is good)

Cook it for several hours in your crockpot and then throw grated cheddar cheese on top of the hot mixture in your bowl, toss some crackers on the side and eat up.

Thank you all so much. After all this, DH called and said he would stop at the store and get the stuff and make it. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this man. He really is a dream come true!
