Today must be my lucky day. I've had not one but TWO people call me and ask me when can I schedule an interview with them. One was a guy named Leary who is the GM of the Bandolino Shoes at the mall. The other person was a nice lady named Donna who works in an office in the soon-to-open Frisco Square office complex who wants to interview me next Weds to be a front desk/receptionist type person. WHOOPEE!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that ONE of these people extends me a job offer. I'm praying they will because that'll mean a step up for me. I'm really hoping for the office job,tbh. I realize that now that I have a child, it's time for me to step it up, get a REAL job and start working the whole career thing. I have more than myself to think of. I have to think of James' quality of life here too, not just my own.

Which btw, at the moment, I feel like a horrible parent. I was attempting to cut his nails with the baby fingernail clippers. I had gotten to the thumb on his right hand with no problem and that's when he wiggled, I missed and ended up slicing a bit of skin off the tip of his thumb. It bled a little,but I cleaned it up with alcohol and a cotton swab and put a bandaid on it. As soon as I did that, he seemed to forget I'd sliced him open and settled down.

I did the same thing when my daughter was about a month old. She was asleep so I thought it would be a safe time to clip her nails. Nope, she moved and I cut her. I felt HORRIBLE. lol I made my mom cut her nails after that.

Thanks guys. I am soooo nervous, esp about the one in Frisco Square for the office job. I haven't had an office job since I was in community college and then it was only because it was part of my 'deal' with the state. The state gave me a grant and part of the stipulation of getting the grant was working in an office on campus.


Ok..I think I know what I'm going to wear. Now all I need to do is go buy a new tummy sucker-inner (my old one doesn't fit now) and some new hose. Maybe some new lowheels too, since my black flats are looking kind of old now.
