Please review my dining options

Can someone please review and give opinions on this dining plan for September ? I have picky eaters so buffets will work best for us. We also didn't want to go anywhere so fancy that polo shirts/shorts weren't "good enough."

Saturday - Crystal Palace 4:05
Sunday - Sci-Fi 11:15
Monday - Chef Mickeys 7:40 (I had asked for 5:00 but that was the best available - is there any advantage to having it that late ?)
Wednesday - 1900 Park Fare 5:40
(I also have a Crystal Palace lunch Wednesday at 11:30. I guess we will just eat light and do 2 buffets in one day.)

We have 5 TS meals for our dining plan. Tuesday will be an MGM day and there's just not anywhere there that will work for us. Any suggestions of something close by at a resort with food names that we can pronounce (otherwise the kids won't eat it) ? We had planned to go to 50's diner but we aren't into their "games" and from what I've read it's not really optional. I guess it's possible we may do something different unless they want a 2nd day at MGM.

I love all the places you chose with the exception of Sci Fi. Just not my favorite.

I haven't been to any of the places you've chosen in the last few years except sci-fi which we liked. We are heading to the World in Nov and we too have picky eaters. I don't know if you'll be near the Poly (by way of MK or epcot) but we've chosen Kona Cafe as one of our meals because the menu looks great (very normal LOL!). The other one that comes to mind being close to MGM is Beaches and Cream esp with kids. We went on our trip in Feb 2004 and it was awesome. Really good burgers and fabulous sundaes. If you do a search- you'll even get pics of the ice cream sundaes. I don't think they do ADRs but I could be wrong. HTH! Good Luck with the planning!

We have eaten at all except Park Fare! Why don't you change one of the Crystal Palace meals for LTT...or better yet, go to Epcot and eat at LeCellier(Canada)! It is a very meat and potatos kinda place! My kids also say...they have the best hamburgers!
