I am planning my 6/20 - 6/25 trip. Celebrating my boys birthdays, turning 6 and 10. Right now I have the following ADR's and wanted some feedback. We are staying @ AK (Jambo house value studio) 6/20 - 6/22 and SSR 6/22 - 6/25. Thanks fellow dis'ers!

6/20 Boma - dinner (7:05pm)
6/21 Coral Reef - dinner (8:10pm)
6/22 Mama Melrose - dinner (6:40pm)
6/23 Ohana character breakfast (9:40am)
6/24 Liberty Tree (8:20pm)

We just got back from trip 3/23-3/28 and did the following ADR's:
Play N Dine Lunch - loved it
Tusker House Breakfast character - loved it
OKW restaurant for dinner - loved it
Crystal Palace for dinner - loved it

They look great!!!
Just wondering about Chef Mickey's for your family. Our DS (8) loved it:)

i second the suggestion (or question about Chef Mickey) because we really enjoyed it. We did lots of other characters meals (Norway Princess Breakfast, Crystal Cafe lunch with Pooh, Cinderella Happily Ever After dinner, Ohana character breakfast) and we thought the character interaction AND food was best at Chef Mickey's.

I tried for Chef Mickeys but so far it is booked. which ADR would you switch it with? Only for breakfast or is dinner there good as well?

I think Chef Mickey's is a better deal for breakfast. The dinner is just way to expensive for what you get.

Really, though your ADR's all sound great. A good variety. As much as I love CM's I love O'hana more. I think having your food served at a character meal is better. You don't have to wait to eat because Minnie is at the next table.

Have your kids asked for someplace special for their b-day dinner?

I have DDP so unless it is 2 meals, not worried about the cost. :) The boys do not know we are going, so they cannot ask for any where special. :( I am trying to get in touch with Debbie @ Coral Reef to do menu's and diver.

Chef Mickey's is NOT a 2TS.

I agree that WCC is a lot of fun also.

If you are happy with what you have booked than don't worry about it.

Funny you asked about CM for breakfast or dinner. We have only been at dinner, but realized the other day to switch this coming trip to breakfast because we'll save a bunch of money. I have always heard such wonderful things about the breakfast, too. If you want to eat there, just keep calling everyday...no kidding;)

Which ADR would you switch for Chef Mickeys? I have DDP, so cost of breakfast vs. dinner isn't problem. Heard you can see fireworks from there if you do dinner.

6/20 Boma - dinner (7:05pm) haven't done this
6/21 Coral Reef - dinner (8:10pm) your kids will love the aquarium, my dd's did. We enjoyed the food here too, it's a really neat place!
6/22 Mama Melrose - dinner (6:40pm) haven't done
6/23 Ohana character breakfast (9:40am) we really enjoyed this meal over the buffet breakfast we had. Everything was so fresh and relaxing having the food brought to us. Everything was really good and the character interaction was great. Stitch is fun!
6/24 Liberty Tree (8:20pm) Atmosphere and characters A+ also loved the whole theme, but the food was just average. Not terrible though, I'm glad we did it, but we won't put it on our redo list (there are too many other places to try).

I saw someone mention Whispering Canyon and that did make our redo list for our upcoming October trip. We ate dinner there two years ago and loved it. My dh is a big breakfast person, but he said he'd rather use our ts meals for our dinners only. Have fun, from what I've read everything you've chosen you should enjoy.
