Ok. I am really into writing and I love writing stories. I recently gave my friend a story that I had written. I wrote it because I was bored in class and I had nothing to do. The next day she handed me the story and said "I was up all night reading this! Its so good! You really did good." I told my parents about it and they totally supported me. I want to get my book published really bad. I had my English teacher read it and he was so amazed he was behind me too. The only thing that is stopping me is the money and the fact that I don't have a literacy agent. What do you guys think I should do?

Like Shelby says, take a chance.
I'm sure that if they wanted to publish your book, and your parents support you, you may get it done. There are forms of financial aid you can get, I'm sure of it. Think of it, if it were to get published, you may make lots of money. Sure it may start out slow, but other publishers might pick you up (feel free to correct me, I assume you're allowed to be published by more than one company)
