Please Read - A very sad announcement

I can't believe it...I am just stunned by this news.


I remember meeting Bob many years ago...1998 I think it was... at the DIS Meet at Disney Quest.

I use to get such a kick out of him when he'd be posing as Tinkerbell getting ready to fly over the MK and Sheriff Wilderness riding into town.Oh and who could forget Harold (his furry hand puppet friend)...I loved Harold! On a couple of my trips down to Florida I spent time with Bob's older son Matt.We called Bawb...who had the greatest accent... so I could check on Harold...Harold was always sitting by the pool enjoying a drink and the Florida sun.


My heart and prayers go out to Diane,Brian and Matt.


Bawb gave me many a good laugh here at the DIS.May you rest in peace friend.

I just came across pix of the Disney Quest meet a couple of weeks ago. Harold is alive and well and you can see pix of him on the podcast board.

Those were fun chats with Bawb. We were all so silly together. He was truly one of a kind.

Thanks for sharing these memories. I came downstairs hoping that it was all just a terrible dream. We've lost such a dear friend.

Back when I first came here, I was a big follower of Bob's photography.
I am so sorry to hear of this loss, he was indeed a wonderful man,
made so many contributions to many of us. He will be greatly missed,

My heart breaks for his family...

Bob was so helpful to me for so many things, I'll never forget how he worked so hard to get my boss out of a BAD hotel in Orlando and into a wonderful one!! He worked it out while on a cellphone in his car!!!

A kinder more fun man is hard to find...

The vast majority of my memories of Bob, outside of the Podcast meet in December, are right here on the DIS.

Bob and I had occasions to interact over menial things like Park Hours adjustments or some news release that I'd found about the parks.

He was always such a kind and patient man.. gently informing me frequently of the 'right' person to send stuff to .. or making the adjustments himself... he was so kind and unbelievable patient in our interactions.

And of course, I really enjoyed his contributions to the Podcast over the past year ....

I .. like so many .... feel we have lost a friend.. however tangential our interactions with Bob may have been.
