Very sorry to hear of his passing...I was not familiar with Bob but it sounds like he had the type of Disney spirit we all search for.

I'm very sorry to hear this. Prayers go out to his family and friends. :grouphug:

My sympathies to the family. Thank you to his family for lending him to the DISboards, for the countless hours of posting or being on the computer instead of doing some thing else, and for any sacrifice he made in his personal life for the DIS. :flower2:

My thoughts are with his family and loved ones. His presence will be missed, even by those of us who did not know him personally.

wanted to bump this for others who may not have seen it..

We will miss you Bawb!!! :sad1:

I'm very sorry for both his at home family and for his DIS family.

Sending my deepest sympathy to Bob's wife and son. May you find strength during your time of grief. I will keep Bob's family and friends in my thoughts.

So sad to hear this. :(

Bob, Wilderness to me and many others, was one of the first people I met on the Net, here back in early '99, planning our family's first WDW trip. He was always helpful, as a participant on the Theme park board, answering my many questions, coming from me then new to Disney World, with great ideas and solutions.

While on that trip, my family and I met Bob at a DIS Christmastime meet at Disney Quest. I was able to meet up with him several times in years following, always a fun, smiling guy. I always picture him in his AK safari hat.

Condolences to Diana, Brian and all Bob's DIS and Disney family.

I did not know Bob but very sad none the less.

His obit is in the Orlando Sentinel today.
