From POP taken during a down pour Feb 3rd, 2010. The kids just had to go swimming. I feel sorry for those poor life guards.

Hippy Dippy Main Pool w/my favorite character watching over it. Big hit for me, Baloo's statue:

Bowling Pin Pool in the 50's - which had much warmer water than the main pool the time I was there. I swam in here for about an hour on November 10 as a heavy rain shower affected MVMCP. Decided to head back to the resort at around 8 pm and go swim in the pool. I was the only one and didn't feel cold at all - at least not until I got out of the water...

Here are some AKL Kidani pool pics from Dec 09

We only swam a couple of times as the weather was not really hot enough.

This is the main pool area - very nice surroundings - peaceful.
(Appologies for the Mickey Croc's in the foreground)

The bridge over the water slide.

I actually thought that at night this place really looked spectacular - it was very well lit and really very atmospheric (in keeping with the African Savannah theming).
