Please Post Your Swimming Pool Pictures Here!!!

Okay, I have gone through every page of the thread and I still don't know....which is better Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach?
I've got one DS9 that is a dare devil and a DS11 that is a wimp!
Thoughts......???

I know pool hopping is a no-no but wouldn't it be cool if they sold a pool pass that you could buy for a day?

My vote is for Typhoon Lagoon. We bought the Water Parks & More option on our last trip and did get to go to both parks. Our entire family enjoyed Typhoon Lagoon, and particularly Crush 'N Gusher. Your DS9 dare devil will absolutely LOVE it!

My DS11 is our thrill seeker, and he actually enjoyed Blizzard Beach more. The slides are much taller and faster. I, however, thought that Crush 'n Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon was worth the price of admission alone.

Great BB pics!! Anymore?? I have never been there, and we are planning on visiting this Oct!

Here are a few. They are not great, but here they are:

This thread is great. I'm hunting for information to see if it's going to work to get my ds who is severely disabled into one of the pools at the All Star resorts. I was told that one of them are zero entry but can't find evidence of that. Someone else told me that there was a spot in one where there is a wheelchair seat height set of steps that you could then go down into the water on. But, in all the pictures I've looked at I can't see that. Any more close up pictures of any of the All Star resorts? We're staying at All Star Sports in Sept. and I'd love to get ds into the water. But if it's not going to work we just won't offer that as an option. Thanks,

We were just here a couple of weeks ago, and I'm already dying to be back!

My little Pirates counter is telling me I'll be there really soon!!!:dancer:

Then I shall count on you and your little pirates to provide me with many, many pictures to enjoy until we get to go back at Thanksgiving!

(Just felt the need to write in tie-dyed cheesecake style!) :)

I have pictures from the cabin pool at Ft. Wilderness. I can't post them, but don't worry.

After you read the following, close your eyes and imagine a cement rectangle. Fill it with sparkling blue water. Surround the pool deck with a few loungers and tables. Do NOT add theming. Do not add a hot tub/spa.

There you have it. OTOH, the bathroom is lovely. By far the nicest public restroom I've ever seen. With tiles and murals and large open spaces. :confused3

The pictures have to be online first. Most people go grab a free photobucket account. (www.photobucket.com probably). Then you just upload them from your camera to your computer, and from your computer to your photobucket page. Photobucket then gives you 4 lines under each picture. One of those lines is your tag. Not sure which one. I always have to experiment a little with the preview button here on the DIS to figure out which string of code to use (copy/paste). It all sounds VERY complicated, but once you get it down pat, its a 30 second deal from the camera to the DIS forum.:thumbsup2 Photobucket can explain it all I'm sure.
maybe someone else can explain it better.:confused3

I don't disagree with this description, but I will point out that everyone I saw at the pool was having a great time. Here is a pic of my nephew, having lots of fun at the FW pool, in the rain!

I seem to remember reading that they plan to change that. Am I wrong? Aren't they going to totally redo the Fort Wilderness main pool and give it a new themed make-over and a slide? I hope so. We plan to buy a travel trailer in a few years and I'd love to camp at the Fort. A brand new themed pool would sure be nice :goodvibes

I'm sorry that I can't help you out with an answer to your question but I at least wanted to recommend that you try out the DISabilities forum here on the DIS. The wonderful individuals who post there are super informative and friendly and I'm sure someone has information about this amenity if it does exist.

Good luck and I hope you have a wonderful trip to the World!

Does anyone have pics of the ASMovies pool (besides the Mighty Ducks pool) so I can show my DS them! TIA!

Thanks for your reply. It's the only one I"ve gotten. I have tried the Disabilities board and gotten no concrete information from them either. I'm just going to have to wait until I get there and then investigate.
