I actually just saw something on the news about the temps where you're at! Thank goodness for swimming pools!

Not only has it been super hot here for the past week- record breaking temps for at least 5 days in a row, but now this morning we woke up to the wonderful smell of forest fires, burning a good 2 hours away. It was just lovely. Too stinky to enjoy the pool today

I know this is , but on a trip back from WDW we drove through the big fires in FL. The smoke didn't look like smoke, it looked like a thick mist. It was so thick at times, that you couldn't tell if you were on the road or a bridge!!!
And if you KNEW you were on a bridge, you certainly couldn't see over the sides.
It was scary / exciting / amazing / sad (all the critters) / fun / and dangerous all in one. It certainly made for a shorter "seeming" trip home.
