I just got Riverside Water view room for 8 nights $109.00 a night. Total with tax $972.32. This is from 12/7 to 12/15 which is value season.

I would love to know how this "system" is working, but these are not the typical off-season rates. Typical off-season rate for POR is $89 a night, with tax - that is for passholders and florida residents. Maybe they are cutting the discount given to passholders but not the residents?

humm, I have been checking the BC different prices and I never saw $210! in fact it is several hundred more then what I got for Dec 16-25th.

Just booked Animal Kingdom Lodge for December 19-28 for $155/night before tax , pool view. For that time frame I was showing reduced prices at AKL, WL , POR, BC. I didn't check other resorts.

BTW, Beach Club standard view was available for those dates for $2,247.84 - this works out to be $224/night before tax. Gotta love the fact that Disney books your stay based on your *first* nights rate .

We got AKL Savannah View for $210.00 for December 15-23. I think that is 25% discount. In the past, we have always gotten about 45% off. Disappointing.

I'm with soccer mom! The rates could be better, but I guess any discount is better than none.
