Please Post Your Ap Rate 2/12-4/17/04 here !!

You can no longer use the 1-800 Disney Club number; The club ended on 12/31/03. When you call the 800 number now, there is recording saying the club is closed and to call 407-WDisney for Resort Reservations.

If you stay on the line after the recording ends, you'll get connected to CRO. I don't know how long this will last, I called 3 times today using the DC number.

Well, a few people upthread mentioned using the DC number since 12/31/03, so I guess they managed to sneak in under the wire before Disney got that recording up! ;)

edited to say I posted at the same time as the post above mine--good tip, btw! Sure it won't last long!

Just wanted to tell those (like myself) who were unable to book their first choice this morning with the AP rate you might want to call and try the new room only code posted on mousesavers.com. It worked for me at BWI... got a standard view room for $288.00 per night, saving me apx. $700 off my AAA discount.

Good luck.

I had a res. for 2 rooms at CSR Apr. 9 - 18 (9 nights)(standard) (special needs, my father-in-law has bad knees and can't walk long distances) with a AAA rate of 2880.00 including tax. ($160.00 per room per night). I called this a.m. and asked for the AP rate and got the total down to 2087.00 which is 116.00 per room per night. Very happy with that as it is Easter week. Was thinking about calling back and checking availability for a deluxe resort instead. (There was nothing available except concierge when I checked a couple of months ago). Hope this helps!

Got Pop Century for $82.60 a night for 28 March - 2 April and Coronado Springs for $116 a night for 2nd April to 7th April.

Was also quoted AKL standard view $199 and savannah view $255. Contemporary garden wing, standard view $216.

Well - not what I wanted, but better than I had.

POR - 2 King Rooms 14 nights = 3,871.00 w/tax. ($138.25/night)

Would have like two standard rooms, but they had none to offer.

Hawk. :)

oops, forgot to add that when I called this morning I was quoted a rate for March 4th and 5th--two nights at the AKL in a deluxe savanna room for $511. ($255 per night)
There were no (more?)concierge rooms available at the AKL with the AP rate. We booked the whole week at the Polynesian concierge instead, (with AP code) since we only wanted the AKL for the concierge privilege of the sunrise safari.
Hopefully, next time!! (although this is the second time we couldn't get it!

Called about a half hour ago and got an AP quote of $1,106.32 for eight nights in a "non-designated" room at CSR - they informed us they had no more standard rooms. Had the CM check on the new CTN code and was quoted about $88.00 dollars more than the AP rate. I booked it and if I find anything better, we can always change, right?:Pinkbounc

For March 21-28: Contemporary Jr. suite $278.75/ night (Incl tax);
For March 21-25: Poly garden same rate
For March 25-28: WL woods view $210.74

The CM explained it as a non-standard room that is in between a preferred view and a standard view - this is new to me too. We already switched to CBR and requested the best room in Jamaica - can't wait:Pinkbounc

Pop Century 2/28 (1 night before moving to DVC)

Allstar Music 4/10-12 (Easter weekend)

about $82 per night for each after tax is added

I got CSR for 3 nights (3/4, 3/5/, 3/6) for $116 per night including
tax.
I also got the Poly for 3 nights (3/7, 3/8, 3/9) for $293 per night
including tax with garden view.

We had booked our trip with Our Laughing Place over two months ago hoping that a discount would come out.
Josephine is our travel agent. She is GREAT!!!!!
She took care of this for us. I did not have to call.

Previous Total was to be: $753.76 for 4 nights at CBR.
New Total is: $463.76.
This is for a standard room. March 6-10.

We will check into Dolphin for the remainer of our trip.
We love that place. It is not available for our whole stay or we would be staying there. A little bit is better than none.

I can't wait to find some things to buy with that $300.00 once we get there.

After an original booking of $390.00 (rack rate), I e-mailed an outfit called Magical Journeys and they were able to procure an AP rate of $322.00 LV concierge, at the Polynesian.

Sorry, but a couple of things to add.
#1. The $390.00 rate was actually on a GV concierge, so we ended with an upgrade. Great for us!
#2. They also had Pop Century available fo $55.00 a night, if anyone was interested.

Just got off the phone and was able to change AAA rate for Ap rate. Staying at PC 3/9/04 - 3/19/04 checking out on the 19. 10 nites rate with tax is 825.00 original AAA rate 1.033.00 it works out to be 79.00 plus tax 83.00 a nite. Had paid the AAA rate in full so they will leave the credit on the account by my wish to be used when I get there. My AP renews 1/24 but know I will be able to snag a better rate in the fall so AP is worth it for me. Also got thru with no wait on phone and whole trasnaction was completed with in 5 minutes. Anybody else during that time would love to have a meet?

Pop Century 3/28 - 4/1 (4 nights).

Old total $486
New total $330

I am so glad I bought an AP on my trip in December!

Walt'sfan, I assume the rates you got were for the trip that is in your counter? Meaning, the one in 12 days? I think that would mean that you are getting a reduction in rate from Value season rates, and using a different code than the AP code most of us in this thread are talking about. There are codes for January that have been out for awhile--but this new code just came out on Jan 1st/2nd, and is only good for dates after Presidents Weekend.....(which translates to Peak Season)
Great rate though, and that's great that you were able to pay less but get an LV room! You will love it!

We are going Easter Weekend, checking in on April 10th. I just booked Coronado Springs for $104, deposit due is $ 115.96. There were no value hotels available, and Coronado Springs was the only moderate available at the AP rate for my Easter weekend dates.
I was on the phone line for a total of 19 minutes....
Michele
