PLEASE PLEASE some tell me Indy going to be open in September!!

We are coming in on the DCL on sept 16th
And the only ride my DH wants to ride is Indy...

Please please tell me it is going to be running, even if he only gets to ride it once is fine..

Last night DH says -" i'm going 3000 miles, 6 hours on plane with a 10 mo., trapped for 6 days with your mother on a boat, and now you tell me the only ride i want to go on might be closed!"

I might be thrown over board if this ride closes before we get there

You're going to get lots of guesses and speculation and rumors, but I don't think anyone here will know "officially" until Disney releases the schedule 6 weeks out. And even then it may be announced later, if I understand correctly.

Best to hold out getting too excited or too upset until the official word is given.

Tell your DH that you have it on good authority (me), that Indiana Jones is closing permanently and the last day is September 15th, and report back with your results

Sorry, since your dates for the cruise obviously are fixed - but it is risky to plan an offseason trip to DLR with your hopes set so high for any particular ride or show. Hope you make it on Indy as it rocks!

Well, I called today and by chance stumbled upon the refrub center...

It listed off rides that would be closed or under refrub until nov. 1st....
Is this likely to change?
It stated HM, space and a few other will be open on september 14th
And no mention of tthe closing of Indy!!!

I was only listing for the dates of sept. 16-20th
There was something about BTMRR before the 16th
I can't remember if was the ranch or the ride however
I was calling the DL info and ticket line (714) 781-4636
I hit Disney parks
Disneyalnd
Attractions
And then hit refurbishments and closing

I think...... I can't fully remember excatly what I hit...

The only long term refurbishments so far are Casey jr and storybook books sep4-nov 15. All others are seasonal or just a few days. Big thunder petting zoo is going to close for a few days. Not BTMRR

As PP stated they listed other rides but those are only a few days at a time

How likely are they to add more or change the refurb list???

I wish I knew about more about the phone line and about how likely it is to change tho

Well I called too and it did say it was subject to change and for most accurate info call close to your trip, but its better than nothing right? I mean they haven't even released these dates on the website so at least there is a place to check now. Thank you for posting the number!

DH said, " and there nothing you and your crazy freaky Disney Dis friends can do do keep it open one more day!!!!" ( asking like a 3 year old would in a whinning voice)
" what good is all that time you spend posting and researching if you guys can't even find a loophole to keep one ride open one more day???"
He stated has he stomps off to go take a shower

My DD said " daddy Disney has to close some rides to make new rides"
Which is what we told her about snow white closing in WDW....
DD -" now you how I feel, when the stuff you say doesn't make me feel better"

I'm actually bummed to hear this. My DS will miss them. I realize I am probably the only one though. . We may need to arrive a day earlier to catch them.

7/19: The long delayed and much debated redesign for the outdoor track portion of Alice In Wonderland has finally been decided on. The multi-month rehab at Alice is now scheduled to begin September 4th, along with shorter rehabs starting that same day at Indy, Storybookland, and Casey Jr Circus Train. After shorter rehabs, Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain will open as their Halloween versions on Friday, September 14th. - Al Lutz

Great news! My DGD was bummed when I told her that there was a possibility that Indy would be down for our late October trip. It now sounds like it should be back up long before we arrive. Thanks for pointing that one out!

What is this? Their fall rehab schedule doesn't mention anything about these?? And what exactly is a "short rehab"? lol I know I've read that Al Lutz usually knows his stuff, sooo....what's going on Disney?
