Please pass the Prozac...............

I know how addicting tr's can be!

Seriously! Someone needs to write a guidebook for TR's!!! It needs to include explanations for all sorts of things like Dude, Peeps, Flat Winkers, Flat Jordan, Plankton, IpDips... I'm sure I'll have more if I just keep reading! :thumbsup2

I had no idea that your MIL lives with you....do you keep her in the basement or something? Couldn't you just take a Flat Grammy instead? But seriously that's nice of you to include her.....even nicer for the TR :lmao:

Yep, she lives in the basement........no she isn't a troll.;)

Since most of you already know a little about me, I thought I'd introduce my mil first.

First, I do need to say that I love my mil. She is a great person and loves her family. She's just a little different. Boy do I have stories about her! Sometimes she doesn't have the social skills one would expect a 65 yr old woman to have and she's a serious hyper chondriac. But, what will give you most of your laughs will probably be her wardrobe choices...... She's a What not to Wear episode waiting to happen!

We took her on our first ever disney trip to Disneyland 4 years ago. That involved 20 hours in a mini van. About 2 hours into the trip we heard some snoring...........when I turned around this is what I saw,

Notice the chocolate milk mustache??

She spent most of the trip down with her headphones on singing along LOUDLY to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Good times.

I know she is going to be really excited when she finds out about the trip. And despite my worries, I am glad we can take her. Someone may need to remind me that on day 4 or 5!

up next.......the rest of the cast

She helps me with the kiddos and her son! I think I my need some prozac too! Definitely some xanax!!

Hi!

I need Prozac to go visit my MIL, I shudder to think what I would need for a Disney Vacation with her.

I think I'm a little more crazy than brave.

For those of you who are new to my craziness, I'm winkers......aka........Che'rie. Winkers is a name that my Mom and younger siblings started calling me when I was about 13. Why you ask? Good question, I don't even know.

I'm a 34 yr old stay at home mom to 4 great kids. I always loved disney movies and dreamed of going to disneyland as a kid. But my dad's idea of a vacation was taking mom to Las Vegas and leaving the kids behind. Que violin.

Dh and I took our kids to Disneyland 4 years ago.........that was the 20 hour car trip being seranaded by snoring and the MoTab's.......(mormon tabernacle choir).

The second I walked through the gates I was sold. I suddenly turned back into an 8 yr old little girl. I was ready to move in. I think our last day there involved my dh .........me......and kicking and screaming.

So, the next year we decided to give Disney World a try. Just the two of us. It was our honeymoon 13 years late. On our first day there I knew I had to take the kids.

The next spring we took them on our once in a lifetime trip.........I spent the first half in horrible pain and the last half in a wheelchair doped up on pain meds. I even got a tour of Orlando in the taxi from Hades in an attempt to find a dentist. Good times.

Since I'm an equal opprotunity bad picture poster......here's me at the end of that trip..........

Last year D.Jay and I were supposed to go to England......my dream vacation......but I decided instead to re-do disneyworld minus the dentist and pain. We had a great time. Here's me without pain killers.....

I know...not much difference!

up next......meet the dh...

I'm here!!! I can't believe I didn't find this thing until 3 pages in! BAD DISSER!!

You had me GASPING at the thought of bringing the MIL. DH is taking a nap. I almost woke him up. I scrolled along and saw the post introducing said MIL and I busted out laughing and scared the crud outta him!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: That was too funny. Love the chocolate milk moustache.

I can't wait until February. I am so glad and feel so lucky that we get to go again. I can't believe Evan is already almost ready to graduate. Time just fly's by doesn't it??

You sure are a brave women. I have no need to worry about my mil coming to Disney as they barely come and visit us. I do want to take my mom some day but she is a big help with dd and my dh and her get along great.

I am so in! This should be the most entertaining TR ever. I can tell you some stories about traveling with in laws but I won't. I will let you figure it out for yourself.:rotfl:
Seriously, I think it is great that you want to include her. It will mean a lot to her and your family. And us..it makes for some good reading.

OK, I jinxed myself. I got a call from my MIL today. She said she and FIL have decided to join us at Disney this Christmas. WHAT? How can you decide when you weren't even invited! After I calmed down somewhat, I told DH to politely tell them that they are welcome to come but we are sticking to the plan that has been in place for months. What joy!
