Okay, we we not going to go and not going to go - we were going to wait until Christmas, but...
we really need a break and I have been working so hard overtime lately that I have the cash. Things to keep in mind. We are the exhausted and overworked parents of a DARLING two year old DD and we are VERY close to burnout.
This is where we are:
1. Wanted to go to Vero - no availability until summer
2. Wanted to go to BCV - no availability until summer
3. Can go the 30th of May to a OKW studio - a bit golden girls there but the CM's are GREAT! A bit close to summer for us Canadian snow birds but we could do our best to manage.
4. Can also go in two weeks (heaven!) for $600 more but we would have to move from a BCV studio to an OKW one bedroom - moving: yuck; huge tub in our one bedroom with privacy: very nice
5. Could also go at the same time as 4. but have a lagoon view at GF which we love for yet another $600 but it wouldn't have a kitchen which we might miss with a toddler but then again, we do like to eat out and it does come with a fridge. Also, this option is the same price as a trip to England I had priced out last month but I think as much as I want to travel across the pond, I am just too burned out to do much more than sit by the pool and go to a character breakfast for at least the first couple of days of the trip right now so we have decided to leave England for our 10 year anniversary next year.

Please! Help us to decide!!!

I'd vote for the Grand Floridian. It's on the monorail... very convenient with a 2yr old. There are 3 character breakfasts on the monorail: one in the GF, one in the Poly and one at the Contemporary. Lots of good restaurants too, since you mention enjoying the eating out part. Having the fridge in your room will add convenience for juice and snacks. Once you are relaxed, your proximity to MK and easy access to Epcot will be big plusses.

Hi. Forgive me, I'm new here, but love Disney as I do, is it really worth cramming into one or 2 rooms when you could have a whole house and private pool and spa for less money? Of course as a villa owner you would be right to say I am biased - absolutely! - but also I have stayed on Disney property (Animal Kingdom Lodge was REALLY good) but all the best parts of Disney are available to non-guests as well - like the fabulous lunches or the character breakfasts or the feeling of belonging...
We just find that when you have children they need somewhere to run around and somewhere to be quiet and they need space and fridges and you need TVs and kitchens and quiet rooms...

And that way you may find that you can also have your trip to England as well!

Whatever you choose I know you will have a magical experience. Here's to happy memories.

David.
