I don't know where to start. In the last 5 years she has had her mom down with experimental aortic aneurysm surgery which kept her in Phoenix for 6 weeks, a 2nd aneurysm surgery, bowel surgery and gallbladder surgery. Her dad has had bypass surgery. Her sister has had 3 bowel surgeries. Her sister died 2 1/2 years ago, her mom died in Jan 02 aand now they have given her dad 48 hours at most.

The Sunday before Thanksgiving, he seemed fine...the next night he was in severe pain all night, but didn't call her. Turns out his bypass to the left leg was completely occluded by a clot. He has subsequently had surgery to remove the clot, amputate half the foot, and removal of a "private" implant which decided to puncture it's way out. He had a pulmonary embolism, heart attack and pneumonia, and is now septic, on a ventilator and dying.

She has had her own health issues with Meuniere's disease, had a recent major drop attack and has lost a good deal of her hearing. She has a son who has dealt with mental health issues, a nephew who was sent to prison, and a sister contemplating suicide. This summer in Destin her BIL walked across hot pavement barefoot...is a diabetic and that night the bottoms of both feet fell off...literally...she was hours in the ER with him.

I am begging...she needs prayers of support. She is a wonderful person, and truly, this is just too much for 1 person. Thank you in advance...I know prayers help!

I will keep your friend in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow Donna. That is way too much for one person to handle. :( I will keep her in my prayers. I will pray too that her father's passing is as peaceful and painfree as possible. :(

Donna, you know she has been in my prayers for a very long time now. Tell her hi for me, and that I'm keeping her in my prayers.

((((hugs)))) to you too for being a good friend and standing by her through all of this.

I'm certainly praying for your friend. That's a lot for any one person to go through. :(

Certainly. Sorry to hear that she's had such a rough time of it. Here's to hoping that 2003 will bring some more positive news her way, and that she makes it through everything okay. She's lucky to have such a great friend like you to lean on. ~*Hugs*~

Sounds like she has had more than her share of heartache. I will pray for her.

Oh my goodness... that sure is a lot to deal with :( I will most certainly keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

Your poor friend. That is just too much to handle. I will keep her in my prayers.

Makes you wonder how much one person can take. :(

Will say a prayer for her, Donna.

It's so sad her father didn't call her when he was in such pain. He probably didn't want to trouble her. So sad. What terrible circumstances.

I said a prayer. I will keep you friend, her father, and her family in my prayers. You are a good friend, Donna.

How awful! I will remember your friend in my prayers. May God give her the strength to get through this.

Gee, Donna, that reads like a litany of hurt for a small town. So sorry to hear all she has had to bear. My prayers are certainly with her and, as said, hopefully her dad's days will be comfortable. A good friend you are indeed.

oh my GOD, Prayers said! How much can one human being take?

She certainly has been through a great deal:( :( :( . Wishing her my very best........

Donna....:(.......I pray that the peace of the Lord, which passes all understanding....grants her God's Grace and God's Love...to guide her and comfort her.....and that God's Blessings are upon you....

Donna, I don't even know what to say. I will pray for her. :( :( :(
