hi, we cancelled our plans to visit wdw back on 9/24. being from the Long Island area we were very effected by what happened on 9/11. when my travel agent cancelled our trip she was told by a Delta representative that we would be able to have our full refund because we had purchased the insurance. Now Delta is saying that they are only giving us back the land only mean while my travel agent has the name of the rep who said we would get the full refund. we are now planning on visiting in january but can't if we lose all this money. has anyone else had similar problem or does anyone have advice on what I can do. I will fight this to the end. thanks
 
When was your visit scheduled for? Has your travel agent talked with his or her Delta Rep? I know our agency has a "sales rep" for each airline. Also, since you did not use the air portion they should at least let you apply the price towards another ticket (you may have to pay the change fee) Have you read the insurance form? Your TA should have had the refund processed when she originally talked to Delta I think you need to be working with the TA!
