I was was watching Fox earlier today and hey had a person on there talking about what type of evidence the duct tape would show. One thing he said that I found really interesting...was the teeth marks. We are all assuming here that if there were teeth marks it would have been Caylee, but he said the teeth marks could belong to the person that taped her, that person used their teeth to tear the tape, then not only do they have teeth marks but then they could also have DNA.

If Casey used her teeth to help tear the tape, then DNA from her mouth would be on it and there is no way she could blame the fantasy babysitter anymore.

The article says that Baez said Casey is "not doing well at all." Poor thing.

Yeah poor thing, the only reason she is not doing well is because she knows she is caught and she's going to be in jail forever.

That's what I thought when I heard it! I sure hope that is what happens.

I think the duct tape will be her downfall. It should be holding her fingerprints and possibly skin cells with DNA. If she used her teeth then there will be teeth marks and possibly saliva. If she used scissors in the house I think they can microscopically match up the cut edge of the tape and the the blade of the scissors or knife.

I can't wait to find out what she was wrapped in. It sounds like it is a direct link to the Anthony home.

I think the theory is that the tape was in case she woke up, so she wouldn't be heard. And perhaps she did but was suffocated by the heat or the tape or something.

God, I can't even type this and think about that. I hope they can figure out what happened to this baby.

In the article linked here it said they took out a small pillow, I wonder if it was a match to something that Caylee was wrapped in such as sheets or a blanket. I know when the girls were little they had crib sheets that had these teeny matching pillow cases and I had a small pillow they covered (although why I'll never know cause they never slept with a pillow at that age)

Interesting question. Has anyone ever noticed there are no other family members or even close friends around the Anthony's? I've always found this odd. Granted, I don't even know if Cindy or George have brothers or sisters, (I thought I had read early on that Cindy does have a brother) but still, especially in the beginning, you would expect to see family and friends rally around, but I don't recall every seeing anyone except one family friend who quickly disappeared. (she was on a couple talks shows very early on saying she was close friends with the family and that Casey babysat her two boys a few times ) And you know how the media is...they will talk to anyone who they think might know the family, it could be the Anthony's mailman, the media would try for a comment, but I can't remember ever seeing anyone. Cindy has a brother. It has been reported that he made his position clear early on. He said something like he did not trust Casey at all. So now Cindy won't talk to him.

I have read this theory also. I guess I just don't understand how giving anyone too much chloroform can be considered an accident. That's just like giving someone just a smidgen of rat poison.

In fact they don't know it is Caylee yet, so why would they have access to a medical examination of the remains if they aren't Caylee? They would have no right to be anywhere near it.

That's precisely why the judge denied Baez' request.

The whole media circus is so disrespectful to Caylee.

But not nearly as disrespectful as we all suspect Casey was to her.

I thought I heard on TV or something that they think the real reason Casey killed Caylee was because the guy Casey was seeing didn't want the child around.

I don't think they can match up the edge of a cut piece of duct tape with a particular knife blade or scissors (at least, not outside of CSI -- which is the worst show EVER for tainting juries).

She said Casey could still be tried for murder 1 (Felony Murder in Florida) even if it was an "accidental overdose of cholorform" because that would be aggravated child abuse which is a felony. If you commit a felony and a death occurs from it, it is Felony Murder (Murder 1) in the state of Florida, not involuntary/voluntary manslaughter. It doesn't matter if it was premeditated or not.

From what I've read, there was something (towel, sheet, etc?) that apparently had been wrapped around her body. They also found the duct tape, of course, and bag. I don't know if they found anything else. I think I read that they did not find any clothing, which is interesting considering Casey's "they didn't even find her clothes yet" comment.
