Hi All... popping on for my every-two week post. I saw Cindy (Was it on the Today Show? I think so) Where she said that she WOULD suspect her stupid daughter if she were not her stupid daughter. (The stupid part is mine, not hers). I truly think she is blinded by that girl! She either doesnt think, or just doenst WANT to think her daughter could do anything like this. Either way, she needs treatment. She's nuts! I have a son who's 24, and while he'd never be in this spot, Id never be so binded not to see the light. Even when he was a kid I knew to see all sides of a story! And her huge lies???? WTH does it take for Cindy to come around????

I see what your saying. I feel the same way you do. I would like to think I would see the light as well. However, I asked my husband the same ? and he said he would RATHER be blind and not think that his daughter could/would ever do something like this. Of course, he would be devestated inside. But he would continue to put up a "she could never do this" attitude as a coping mechanism. And he comes from a family of Psychologists. So I don't know if that means anything?

Ya know, if Casey was really smart, she would have just said 'someone' stole my daughter. I turned my head and she was gone. Involving this poor ZG is just cruel! I actually feel bad for that woman who is on NG right now.... wow, go NG, got ZG. Even without her face being blacked out lol.

Well it looks like they did check the Tampa hospital to see if they had a person by the name of Zanida. Nope there never was. So that was another lie. What a shock.

I may be a Mom but I am not an idiot. I do not believe all the little 'stories' my kids have told me over the years and IF this was my child (Casey),I know I wouldn't be walking around with blinders on. My coping mechanism is "ok, this has happened and we need to deal with it".

Seems like after all the lies that Casey has told, Cindy would know her by now. Every word out of her mouth is a lie. Like one person said on the nancy grace show when asked, how do you know Casey is lying, they said, its when her lips are moving.She always lies and looks like she always have so why believe her now?

I hope she wins a huge settlement against the entire family. That way they won't profit from the murder of Caylee

I don't know if the grandma is "crazy" i think she is just VERY VERY CONFUSED. Who would want to believe that their own child could do this?
Yes, she has her blinders on. But I am saving my "crazies" for Casey. It means more when you save it for when it really counts!
**I too hope that Zanaida gets all the money that they get if they are to accept a movie deal or any deal at all which makes them money**Zanaida should get it all.

The only way I can see the grandparents being okay with a movie deal, would be if they genuinly felt that by getting their story of their crazy daughter out there, they were somehow helping other family's other parents open their eyes to what may be going on in their own homes..and maybe they can stop it before it gets any worse. But I think it's WAY WAY to soon for the grandparents to be thinking that way.

I agree --- she wasn't exactly doing great before all this came out --- now she sees $$ signs.


I am glad they named Casey a suspect...and wow - the witness list is crazy! There are tons of people on there who we haven't heard about.

My problem with grandma is that Casey didn't turn into this patholigical liar overnight. Nobody with the ability to lie directly to LE, the world and not blink an eye has been doing it for a VERY VERY long time. I am sure, quite sure, actually that grandma knows every single time her dd is lying. If anyone in this world would know her dd it should be her. She, IMHO, is doing her dd a great disservice by not saying, hey we know your lying, I am sorry you need/feel you need to do this, I can not stand by and do this with you, Caylee needs to be found and you, my dear need serious help I can not give you at this time.

I am a grandmother, I would hope that none of my children would ever do this but I also know that I would not put blinders on and not say what is right there in front of my face. Its starting to feel like Grandma also has serious issues that she needs help for. In my mind, at this point, Caylee comes first.

Pathological liars have developed their talent over the years. Her parents know good and well of her "skill" in this area. They are aware that is she if breathing, she is lying. Leopards do not change their spots. Why on earth do they think their Liar Liar Pants on Fire Daughter from Hell is suddenly telling the truth for the first time in her life when ALL the evidence points to the contrary?

On some level, I think they feared the worst from the beginning and THAT is why they washed Casey's pants, washed the knife and cleaned the trunk of the car. Puh-leeze, they knew better, given their careers. Even if they didn't think she had killed Caylee, they thought she'd been involved in something B-A-D, bad and they were covering her butt one more time. Unless the entire famly got a group discount on lobotomies, they now have to know she is responsible for Caylee's death.

There has been speculation about a movie thrown around, but I've not heard anything concrete. The Anthony's attorney said there is no movie or book deals in the works.

I agree. I'm just wondering what her excuse for unemployment was before Caylee disappeared?

Is her middle name even Fernandez? I'm not saying Casey didn't use this woman's name as a pawn in her sick game, but are the other people, like the ficticious sister Samantha suing too? Where do we draw the line?

Zenaida's mistake was doing the first interview at all. To me, SHE made herself "thee" Zenaida.

I think everyone is intelligent enough to know there are other Zenaida's in the world. It's just that this one sort of put herself in the position to be "thee" Zenaida. Eventually she, and her name, will be yesterday's news. She's trying to cash in while the iron is hot.

I would only be pro this law suit if every single Zenaida Gonzalez in the state of FL and nearby states got a piece of the pie.

I totally agree. I see Zenaida as an opportunist.
If she didn't do that first interview, then no one would have known she was one of the many faces behind the Zenaida Gonzales name. Her reactions to this remind me of the Anthony's fighting the protesters with hammers. They are just egging them on.

I, too, am so sick of people trying to cash in on this tragic story.

There was a knife found in Casey's car and Cindy washed it. It has been described as a "kitchen knife" but I haven't seen anything more specific as to whether it was a butter knife, steak knife, paring knife or butcher knife. Also found in Casey's car were a pair of gray pants (also washed by Cindy) and Caylee's doll baby that she supposedly never went anywhere without.
