Why would the grandma wash those cloths after she said they smelt like someone died on them? Sounds like she is trying to protect her daughter.

Exactly. I know if most people who had a child missing found the car and it smelled like that they crap a brick waiting for the cops to arrive--Her,well she thinks to grab clothes(possibly with the thought her DD may need them to go to work) which she knew by then was a lie.

Well, the grandmother was the only person who knew of the existence of these pants. She called CSI and asked them to come back out to her house to collect the pants and Casey's suitcase (the one she used after June 15).
The strange old man in the photos with Caylee was Cindy's father (saw that on Greta the other night).

Maybe Cindy is finally coming to the conclusion that her daughter killed this child.....

Actually according to the search warrant she told them on 8/4 while being interviewed that she had taken them out of the car before they got there and took them home and washed them so they asked to get them(hence the search warrant for her clothing)

Ahhhh. I thought I heard on Nancy Grace just now that Cindy called CSI back out to the house to get them, I guess I misheard, thanks for correcting me.

That is what they were asking on the Nancy Grace show.It thse pants would still have something on them. So they went ahead and took the cloths along with some others from the house today. Maybee they will find something on the cloths. They gotta find something somewhere. This is horrable. You dont know what to believe.

Even after washing them, wouldnt there be something still on them?:confused3

I think Luminol could probably be used on them for blood residue, but I am not sure. I have seen them spray it on walls after they have been cleaned really well and it would still light up. I think they used it in tha case in NC earlier in the year where the male soldier killed the pregnant soldier and then he painted the wall.

Oh ok, thanks for clearafying that . I didnt know that. Its just saying that now. So maybee your right, maybee the grandma is seing something wrong and it trying. Who knows with that family. I hope they find her someway or another. It would be wonderful if she was alive but it doesnt look like that is gonna happen.

that is what I was thinking as far as luminol.

when are all these tests supposed to be back?? :confused3

I think the parents have finally opened their eye a bit and realized that if they want any chance of gettign Caylee back then they have to stop enabling Casey. I just think its a little to late.

I also wonder about the most recent boyfriend, Tony. (I think someone asked this earlier too).

Why have we not heard from him?

Why would the grandma and Lee hesitate to give Casey Tony's phone number? (as we heard from the taped conversations)

Why have we not heard from 'Tony'? We have heard from everyone else connected to the case, why not him???

Yes, I agree. Don't forget this part about him too and that this was the same day that the grandfather reported the gas cans missing - strange timing to me:

June 24 – Casey's ex-fiancé calls her in the afternoon to tell her he has resigned from the Orlando Police Department.

He says he resigned "due to personal reasons".

and it took THIS long for them to find Zenaida in the apartment complex?!

It just took this long for the media to find her - the police had already cleared Z as a suspect a while ago. When Casey took the police to that apartment complex they found that Z had never lived there, and that apartment had been vacant the whole time Casey said she was dropping off the baby.

More about the phone records:
Eyewitness News learned Thursday that Caylee Anthony's so-called babysitter Zenaida Gonzales appears to be nothing but another lie in the case of her missing daughter Caylee. Sources close to the Anthony investigation have told Eyewitness News that, in going through all of Casey Anthony's phone call records, not one call was ever placed to someone named Zenaida Gonzalez.

On jailhouse phone calls that were released to the public, Casey said she had talked on the phone and exchanged text messages with the nanny who allegedly last had Caylee.

"Um, the last number that she called me from was a 954 number, which is a Ft. Lauderdale number. I know because Amy's is also of a similar area code. She has also called me from a 407 number, from a 321 number. There's been different numbers different times," Casey told her brother on the call.

But sources told Eyewitness News there have been no phone calls or text messages to any such person.

What do you want to bet that she will now claim that the calls were made on her "other" cell phone - the one she told her brother she lost (along with the sim card).....:sad2:

And to think that her parents wanted her released so she "could help find Caylee" :guilty:

So many lies, half truths, rumors, ideas, could be's, etc. to wade through that I really feel for the investigators.

Of course, all the rumors and innuendo would stop immediately if Casey (and Cindy, George, Lee) would just tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

We'll never find out the truth. IF we are lucky the police have enough evidence to convict her. Casey (and her parents) might be crazy but I think they are very, very smart.

I thought I just heard a blurb that Lee went to visit Casey and she refused to see him.

that is true...it is all over Orlando news. He was processed to visit her at the video visitation center this morning and she refused to talk to him.

No reason was given.

George Anthony Lashes Out At Media; Casey Refuses Brother's Visit

POSTED: 11:54 am EDT August 8, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- There was an angry and emotional outburst Friday morning from the grandfather of missing 2-year-old Caylee Anthony. There was also emotion at the Orange County jail, frustration from Lee Anthony when his sister Casey refused to see him.

It's been 24 days since Caylee Anthony was reported missing and the search for her is starting to take its toll on George Anthony. He lashed out at the media.

"I'm not talking to anybody. Stay off of my property! Stay away from me. Stay away right now!" he yelled at the media Friday morning as he took garbage to the curb.

George yelled at members of the media that have been documenting his every move since 2-year-old Caylee was reported missing more than three weeks ago. Clearly, the stress is wearing him down.

"You people have no idea what we are going through! You don't care about me! You don't care about her! You don't care about my granddaughter!" George shouted at the media. "You want sensationalism. Shut up! I'm talking. I am talking!"

This was on the same day the toddler's mother, Casey Anthony, rejected a visit at the jail by her brother Lee and one day after Orange County investigators released new details in the case that they say is filled with inconsistencies.

Detectives said what Casey has been telling them all along about her missing daughter simply doesn't add up. Caylee's grandmother Cindy stayed behind Friday morning to explain why George is falling apart.

"He's been angry every day, you just haven't seen it. Ok? You hear something that finally comes to a head, stuff that festers. Anger has been there since day one," she said. "Angry at the situation. Angry that Caylee is not home. Angry at a lot of things. We're helpless."

Little Caylee turns three Saturday, August 9. Cindy said the family bought a closet full of presents for her. Perhaps they are beginning to realize the child might not be there for that celebration.

CASEY REFUSES SCHEDULED VISIT WITH BROTHER LEE

When Lee Anthony showed up at the Orange County jail Friday morning for a scheduled visit, Casey didn't want to see him. Lee had plenty to say when he arrived, but not a word when he left.

Lee spoke at length with reporters before his scheduled visitation about how he still believes Casey's story despite mounting evidence against her, but when he sat down to talk to her inside the video visitation center, he was told she didn't want to.

Lee was asked if he thought his sister was being truthful.

"To the best of her ability right now, I do," he said.

Sounding at times like his sister's defense attorney, Lee Anthony dismissed a recent statement by one Zenaida Gonzalez that she's not Caylee's nanny and never heard of the missing girl.

"There are particular phone call records from that day that are extremely interesting," Lee said. "To try and pinpoint, you know, the idea that it's that person is ridiculous."

Detectives allege there was no phone call from a Zenaida Gonzalez or anyone at the time Casey said she talked to Caylee. But Lee isn't so sure.

"There's plenty of calls unaccounted for. There are some calls that didn't have a caller ID," he said.

The 25-year-old account manager maintained he's keeping an open mind about what happened to Caylee while he carries on his own investigation with the help of volunteers and friends. And, since right now the most serious charge against his sister is child neglect, he won't speculate she's done anything worse.

"Frankly, I wouldn't be here if I thought she wasn't still cooperating with me," he said.

But Friday, she didn't. When Casey was asked by a corrections officer if she wanted to meet with her brother, she declined.

"I've just been informed by the visitation supervisor that when visitation session started, Casey Anthony was not at the visitation unit over in her housing area. Correctional officer came on over the screen and told Mr. Anthony that Casey did not wish to have the visit occur and then he left," said Allen Moore, Orange County Corrections. "She did not wish to have the visit. No reason was given for this. It's the inmate's right not to conduct a visitation if they choose to."

The corrections officer asked three times if she was sure she didn't want to visit and each time Casey said no. He has rescheduled a visit with her for next Tuesday at 9:00am.

DIVERS TRAINING NEAR ANTHONY HOME

The Orange County sheriff's dive team members are searching waterways near the Anthony home. Eyewitness News has been told it's part of a routine monthly training, but there is crime scene tape up blocking the search area.

The second Eyewitness News drove up, deputies started taping areas off with crime scene tape. Across the lake, they taped off more areas. Even though deputies said it's not really a crime scene investigation, it sure looked that way.

"Just training," an official said.

Even as deputies unfurled crime scene tape around the water, they insisted the massive search just down the street from missing toddler Caylee Anthony's home is nothing but routine training, but the crime scene tape and way they're acting certainly suggests otherwise.

Dive teams entered the water while a sheriff's office boat slowly circled the area. That's when a deputy asked Eyewitness News to move the news truck.

"It's got nothing to do with a crime scene. It's got everything to do with it's against the law to park on a sidewalk, period," an official said.

Eyewitness News offered to move to the grass, but the deputy said no. His order to leave made it seem like there may be something more than training going on. Eyewitness News also asked if equipment on the boat could detect bodies underwater, but the deputies on scene weren't allowed to say.

A captain with the sheriff's public information office insisted late Friday morning that it's just scheduled training, but he admitted, given the circumstances, they'll have their eyes open just in case. He also said the tape was needed to stop media from interfering with training.

DEFENSE TEAM AGAIN TRYING TO LOWER BOND

Casey Anthony's defense team is trying again Friday to reduce her $500,000 bond. A motion was delivered Friday morning to the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Daytona Beach.

Judges inside the court are reviewing the motion for a rehearing on the denial of a lower bail for Casey. It was a week ago the same court did not see enough evidence to overturn her bond.

The rehearing request isn't necessarily an unusual step. Sometimes the court will deny an appeal and then new information comes up and attorneys ask them to reconsider the case.

The formal charges filed against Casey did not include murder and the state had argued that the possibility of murder was one reason Anthony should stay in jail with her $500,000 bond. There were some documents attached to the actual arguments filed by attorneys Friday morning, but it won't be known exactly what was in all the paperwork until the court is finished reviewing it.

It's not clear if the court will make a decision Friday or if they'll ask for a response from the state first.

There is something Susan Smith-ish about this. Remember she killed her two sons because her boyfriend wasn't into the idea of a girlfriend with 2 children attached to the deal. In the boyfriend's defense, he had never asked her to get rid of the kids or asked her to give her ex custody of them so the kids would be out of the way. It was more of a "I'm not ready for an instant family" type of thing and the boyfriend was entitled to feel that way. Susan Smith made the leap to killing them and making herself look like a victim at the same time. The boyfriend was sickened.

From Casey's wild partying spree after Caylee disappeared, it seems obvious she loved the single girl party life. Her boyfriend knew Caylee but had no idea she was missing.....He probably thought she was at the grandparent's house since that's where she normally lived. And you know Casey had every excuse in the book as to where Caylee might be if he asked about her. So if Casey killed Caylee, I don't see it as being because her BF didn't want kids around, but because she wanted a carefree life again or because she lost her temper or because of leaving her in a hot car, etc. However the child died, Casey took full advantage of it to live life to the fullest and obsess over her BF.

Because if you will note, just about every time someone visits her in jail, she turns the conversation to INSISTING on them giving her the BF's phone number. She is like a dog with a bone regarding that phone number. She is fixated on it. She can go the whole conversation without mentioning Caylee, but not without pestering for the BF's phone number. And if she can't get it, she's DONE with the conversation. GOODBYE!

I'm sure she remembers the BF's phone number, but that he has changed it. He doesn't WANT to talk to her. He's steering clear of her. But her fixation with him when her child is missing is unnatural and speaks volumes.:teacher:

that is true...it is all over Orlando news. He was processed to visit her at the video visitation center this morning and she refused to talk to him.

No reason was given.

Casey probably refused to see Lee to get back at him for cancelling his scheduled visit with her the previous day. Cindy also cancelled her scheduled visit with Casey the previous day (hope I got the dates right). Casey seems like a vindictive bully. One of the talking heads had described her as a person who has been bullying her family for years.

PANTS: Casey ought to thank her mom for washing those pants. Let's not forget that Casey's dad is an ex-cop (if I have my info correct). Cindy knew darn well what she was doing. Aren't there enough crime shows on tv that let us know not to tamper with evidence? And how many times did Cindy wash those pants anyway? Let's see. She had them from mid-July until August 4th?

Once I found out Cindy "washed the pants," I wondered if maybe the pants she gave police the other day, were not even the same pants from the car. Afterall, no one really knows what the original smelly car pants looked like, other than George or someone mentioning that Casey was last seen leaving the house with Caylee wearing pin striped pants. Cindy could have taken any pair of Casey's pants to give cops.

There has to be a reason why Cindy waited 3 weeks to hand over crucial evidence and suddenly now calls the cops to hurry hurry come get those pants.

George said the pants he last saw Casey in, were pin striped. Did Cindy ever say that the pants in the trunk were also pin striped? Maybe the pants in the car were not pin striped, but Cindy said they were since we already know she started her plot to protect Casey right after her last 911 phone call.

I guess what I'm getting at, is, Cindy could have given the cops any pair of Casey's pants and said those were the pants she found in the car. Let's say George said he saw Casey in pin striped pants. Cindy finds smelly blue jeans in the car, destroys them/washes them, and tells the cops the pants in the car were pin striped (the ones maybe Cindy found in Casey's suitcase or closet), and wallah, she gives the cops the striped pants. I can only hope that in their initial search of the house back in July, they went straight to the washing machine plumbing and pulled any gunk from there.

Next question: Heck with the pants for now. Where are the shoes and boots that were found with the pants? You can't throw boots in the washer or if you did, it would be very obvious. There could be lots of evidence in those boots. But again, could Cindy have given cops "other" boots and shoes? I know she loves her little granddaughter, that is very obvious, but I do believe she is covering for Casey.

I believe, as most others, that Casey is somehow responsible for Caylee's death. That poor, poor, sweet little child.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- There was an angry and emotional outburst Friday morning from the grandfather of missing 2-year-old Caylee Anthony.

The Anthony family has to be one of the oddest out there. I think Cindy is slightly enjoying the lime light and I find that incredibly disturbing. As often as I saw Beth Holloway on TV, NEVER ONCE did I ever get the impression she enjoyed the limelight. Her main focus was Natalee, Natalee, Natalee. Beth never made it about herself.

For anyone that saw the video from this morning where George Anthony is yelling at the press. I don't blame him for yelling, but he should have said what he had to say and then moved on.. not keep coming over to them and yelling at them. That only feeds their frenzy. But ok, who can blame the guy. He can't even empty his trash without them breathing down his neck. The Anthony's are very upset with tomorrow being Caylee's birthday. It's very sad.

But what I found disturbing in the video is Cindy's sauntering out to the end of the driveway to the press and having her face out there again. George tries to get her back into the garage, but Cindy can't seem to stay out of the limelight. The media seems to draw her in like a magnet. After George drives away, Cindy COMES BACK out of the garage to talk to the media. SOMETHING DEFINITELY SMELLS FOR RAW FISH with this whole family!!!

Thanks for the link about the search warrant-very interesting+yes i agree with others on here,i deffinatley don't think this poor little angel is going to be found alive.

It's just lie after lie, with this family-this has to be one of the most disturbing+heartbreaking stories i have read lately.x.

I haven't read every post, can someone update me on these pants and boots story? This is the first I've heard/read about them.

I just found this site the other day and I've been reading it but I haven't seen anything about pants and boots yet

so I'm with chickadee
:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I haven't read every post, can someone update me on these pants and boots story? This is the first I've heard/read about them.

Apparently, they were among the items ( I assume they were Casey's) on the search warrant the police issued yesterday....along with a pair of pants that Cindy apparently found in the car and washed because they smelled like something "dead"..........

the link to the search warrant is a couple pages back. I read it and after seeing the evidence of lies, I am sadly convinced that mom (either deliberately, or negligently) is completely responsible for Caylee's disappearance, and I don't think Caylee is still with us......:sad1:

This is the one thought that keeps running through my head....I'm sure I'm not the only one. Assuming what everyone thinks is correct...how could you bury your beautiful 2 year old daughter and then move her...holding her lifeless, decomposing body...without totally falling apart. How can anyone be that cold and deal inside their heart to do this????????

I don't remember the Susan Smith case consuming me this much...and I followed it. She's still in jail, right?
