This story gets more confussing by the day,

I totally agree Karen,it brings to mind the case of Shannon the missing school girl in Dewsbury-who was'nt really missing.The Mother+Step father+family hatched the plan themselves to get whatever they could from the system+public.

I sometimes wonder if they know where this poor girl is(alive)and it was a scam all gone wrong .x.

It was a sickening story we had here in the UK a few months ago.They had someone(a family member of the step father) 'kidnap' her and the plan was for a family member to find her+hey bingo get the money our newspaper put up for finding her.Apparantly the sum was about £20,000,then to get more money from doing newspaper+tv interviews.Scum of the earth this family.x.

I really don't think it's fair to say no one is looking for her. They are distributing a ton of fliers, t-shirts, etc. I don't think we are going to see teams of people out there searching the woods, etc. like we've seen in other cases (Jessie Davis comes to mind) because there are just no leads to go on that would point to her being in one particular area.

Yes, I have seen the fliers. And a friend who works at a local store told me about being visited by a police detective asking her to keep an eye out. He left his business card.

They are looking for her and they haven't given up hope.

George Anthony was seen crying while leaving the jail.
The Grandmother is now supposedly "sick and weak" from all that has happened.
Casey tells her brother that she will write a letter for him, telling him about her missing daughter-yet the lawyer says there is no letter.

Cadaver dogs found signs of a dead body in the yard and then in the trunk.
Maggots were supposedly all over the trunk.

Two different news stations here in Orlando both have tested the rotting pizza theory. Both resulted in nothing but a shrivelled up, dried out pizza.
No maggots formed on the news' channels pizza either.

George Anthony is a former Detective. He doesn't want to see his only daughter rot in jail and has no doubt told her, "no matter what, until they find a body, keep your mouth shut"

If your Grand daughter was 2 years old and missing, wouldn't you be down to that jail forcing your daughter to tell you where she is? Instead, these people are on the news completely down playing their daughters actions and making excuses for her.
The pictures of her that were released from the bar were taken on June 20th. The guy that took them was on Greta's show telling the world when he took them.

It isn't doing her any good is it? She is just prolonging the inevitable. I guess maybe she figures if she waits long enough they won't be able to find the remains and identify the Caylee. She is so wrong, because I heard one of those forensoic people on nancy Grace say they could convit her with a hair that was determined to have fallen out post mortem. I guess we will see as soon as those results are released.

Casey will be released on the 17th if she isnt charged??? These new photos of Casey are just out of this world. Casey said Caylee will be home by Saturday.
I heard a phone call with Lee, and he sounds like he is just all done with her. Not even trying to push for info anymore. Just pretty much calling her a liar.

I have zero sympathy for George Anthony. Between comments about Casey missing her pillow, Casey not liking jail, and Casey wanting to come home for her birthday...I mean good grief.

It would be nice if someone in that family was concerned only with the welfare of a tiny child. It's disgusting that they are relaying the whining of an entitled party girl.

I'm certain the cops know the pictures are very recent. Casey in those photos looks like Casey now, not sometime ago. I do find it really nauseating to view photos of Casey.

Listening to her brother in the phone conversations, I wondered if he was working with police. To me he seemed to be the only family member really pushing her for info.

Also, I've wondered if Casey is so confidant, i.e. smiling, which is so disgusting, she thinks police won't find her daughters body. Yes, she still can be charged with murder, but a much harder case to prove. I don't think she will tell anyone where her daughter's body is, she is way too narcisisitic (sp.) to kill herself. Someone did post re Diane Downes case in a post I did read and I've been thinking of that case all along.

I hope the police are sitting on their evidence, i.e. dna from trunk, and are quietly building a very strong case against her.

Again sorry if this was posted - saw dad on t.v. this a.m. and he had reported gasoline being stolen from this property. I had not heard of this yet. Just the implications of what might have been done with the gas .

My mom and I were discussing this yesterday and she has a theory that never would have occurred to me:

My Mom remembers Cindy making a big deal that the jail would not let her bring Casey her Bible - she really wanted her bible. Supposedly she is very religious and this would bring her peace.

Add that to Casey repeatedly saying only that Caylee is 'safe and close'. Mom says that religious people believe that when you go to Heaven you are taken care of by the Lord and 'safe'. (I'm not a religious person, but this makes sense I guess.)

Add that to the (possibly memorial) tattoo 'Bella Vida' she got for Caylee.

She is dead and buried close by.

No, I did say she can be charged with murder with no body, just that it may be harder, hopefully only a little, for a conviction. Here in Connecticut it was the wood chipper murder, I will never forget it because it was just so gruesome. No body, but some flesh found in the woodchipper. In that case the husband was found guilty for the murder of his wife.

I can't wrap my head around something. Did Carrie really just think this was going to go away. No daughter no problem. In the footage in her court appearances she just looks so smug. Iwant to slap her face, only for starters.

The grandmother, can we all say DENIAl. I listen to her on t.v. everynight and just cannot believe it. I wouldn't want to think my daughter could do something so horrible either, but to actually believe the bull... Carrie is talking and the grandmother repeats it. Don't quote me but it was something along the lines that Carrie doesn't want to say too much because the person that has Caylee will hurt her- come on, this is all over the t.v. If someone really had her, after it hit television something would happen. I wouldn't be able to tell the police fast enough how to find her.

And wanting immunity. If you did nothing wrong, what do you need immunity for. That alone should send off warning bells in grandma's head.
