Please keep your arms, legs, and antlers inside the vehicle*UPDATE 4/1:NO FOOLIN!

Hi Monica, Where is the update :confused3 I was looking forward to reading. Does this mean you started the trip report over??

Have you been reading and not posting?! I didn't think you'd been over hear lately. Had you seen the Photopass pics? Sorry for the plug on Facebook then.:guilty: I thought you needed a push to read. I just copied the old one on here so it's not w/ the pre trip report. I'll update tonight.

Maybe I didn't post. You know how it is sometimes you read and then get annoyed by one of the kids and forget that you didn't post. I always read though :). I thought you must have posted and update. Well you got back on DIS anyway and I read a few things. Now I have to go play Wii bowling and lose.

Bare with me if I repost a Photopass pic. They're a bit jumbled in Photobucket. I'll post the rest of them to the point where the report stops and then I'll update.:)

Oh no Nichole, I NEVER get annoyed with my kids!:lmao: (Where's the smilie ducking from a lightining strike?) Have fun with Wii! I haven't played in awhile. Maybe that's why I'm not very good!

What did we do after the safari ride? I have no idea so I'm gonna make stuff up!:p I guess we didn't look at the hippo and gorillas on our way out. We headed over to see Festival of the Lion King. Niether Michelle or Sara had seen it before so I was excited for them to see it. Also, being a tumble monkey would be my dream Disney job so I always love the show. We got good seats a couple of rows back. I think Sara and Michelle really enjoyed the show and I think we all teared up a little bit. (Yes, we're dorks. You haven't figured that out by now?!)

WTH? All of sudden my update posted on it's own! I wasn't finished! Well, I'm sure it wasn't on it's own. I'm sure I bumped something!:) So, lets try this again...

After the show we decided to meet some characters! The lines were kind of long, but we decided to hop in line and meet Donald first.

This picture is so funny. It looks like Sara is ducking out of the way of the frame.

Next we decided to meet Santa Goofy. While we waited we listened to the guy who plays the guitar and makes up songs. I really wanted him to make up a song about our girls trip, but he was gone before we got over there.

On our way out we took some Camp Minnie Mickey pictures. I always laugh when I see a lizard on one of the character's head.

It was time for us to head to Animal Kingdom Lodge for our ressies at Boma so we headed out making a few stops along the way for pictures and to buy...

:lmao: Sorry, that's the best cliffhanger I can come up with today!

Next up? What did I buy? How much did we drink? What the heck were we thinking?

It looks like you guys (or should I say ladies) had a great time. :thumbsup2 I can't wait to hear more about your trip.

Yay! An update! Great pics from the Lion King - who took those? :confused3 :rotfl2: JK! I soooo loved that show! I still can't believe that I had never seen it! It was so good.

I love Nemo too, but I think for me the difference is in Nemo, they have to be good at so many things - singing, puppetry, acrobatics, etc, etc...whereas in Lion King, they specialize in one particular talent, so they are able to really fill those roles with some amazing people in that "one" genre that they perform in. Does that make any sense? I just don't think the fire guy from Lion King would also be able to sing "Go With the Flow" from Nemo. Who knows, maybe he could! Anyway, I love both shows, but for different reasons! I just loved that whole Camp Minnie/Mickey area all together - it was adorable!

Ooooo....Boma! Can't wait!!!! :goodvibes

Great update Monica! I absolutely loved the Lion King show and don't know why I had never seen it before. :confused3 Now it will be a must do when we are at Animal Kingdom for sure!

I love looking at the pictures from our AK- brings back memories of a great relaxing and fun day with two of my favorite girls! :grouphug:

Looking forward to Boma - Yum!!!

Okay I'm back! I couldn't find you for several days and I got concerned that you decided not to share anymore.
Well since I'm caught up please continue.

I'm here and caught up now! You made me stay up and hour past my bedtime. I'm so jealous of you guys. I wish I'd be able to go. If we'd still lived in Florida I would have, but darn Georgia!

I loved the video Michelle. I've missed you guys.

And you aren't crazy. I'm in a group with 7 other women online who all have kids Christian's age (born June 2005). We're planning to meet next June
(2010) for the kids' 5th birthdays...at Disney World...with our families. THAT will be quite the trip. It would be so much fun to have a just girls' trip though.

Anyway, I gotta get to bed. Dealing with 7th graders in the morning...

Can't wait for the next installment!

Hey Heather! Just when I think you've dropped off of the DIS planet you pop back up! How are you? Are you still subbing or did you get your own class? Your trip sounds fun too. Sara, Michelle and I are trying to find a way to go back with our families sometime as well. It was so great. Im glad you found the report. How are the boys? Getting big I'm sure. Keep in touch.:)

Hi Heather! :wave2: I hope things are going well for you! Thanks for stopping in - hadn't seen you around in a while! :goodvibes

Sara

Hi guys! Haven't been around in a while. I think I last posted in November. Ever time I thought of coming over I got sidetracked. I'll be making it more of a habit again, I'm sure, now that it's the new year and our September trip is getting closer. I wish I could go ahead and make reservations, but I've got to wait and see what the promotion is going to be. So I will wait....impatiently.

The boys are good. Definitely getting big. Will is almost 7, Christian is 3 1/2 going on 7. Seriously. The kid talks and acts like a 7 year old...or at least a 5 year old. I'd compare him to a Kindergartener in speech, demeanor, and intelligence any day. He is going to be a handful when he really does start Kindy in a couple years. Nothing big deal going on right now except for the birth of my nephew last Saturday. My brother and his wife are first-timers, so the going is a little rough right now. They'll get it.

I am both subbing and I have my own class...that is to say, I'm teaching for someone out on Maternity Leave. 7th grade Science. Not my first choice (or my second...or my third), but it's okay and I love the other teachers on my team. When she comes back I'll have a couple weeks "off" (or rather hopefully still subbing at other schools), and then I will come back and take over Reading for a teammate who is due in May. I'm hoping it will lead to a job (here or somewhere else) in the fall. Praying. Keeping my fingers crossed. And everything else.

But we're definitely going to Disney, no matter what happens. I'm seriously going through withdrawl. I honestly cannot remember the last time I went a year and a half without going. I don't know if it's ever happened. Maybe when I was in middle school or something. Seriously.

September can't come fast enough...except for the fact that I really don't want my kids to be ANOTHER 6 months older. They're growing too fast as it is! But boy am I looking forward to this trip! And you all aren't helping!

Anyway, I've monopolized your thread enough...back to your story...

Wow!! I just read your TR and I must say that is sounds like you guys had a blast!!

I must also confess that I'm one of those...meaning I have a very special group of ladies who I have had the privilege to meet on here who I'm also going to be going on a trip with!! It is fantastic to read about these type of meets and see people connecting in such a great way!!

Thank you so much for sharing your adventure and I can't wait for my own Girlfriend...or as we call ourselves the Marcettes at Gnomefest 2010 LOL!!!!

Hi! Thanks for reading and I'm sorry I've been neglecting my report. This was my first girl's trip and I'm addicted. We're already trying to plan another trip somewhere. You will have a blast. I think it's because on here you tend to click with people that you have things in common with and you have genuinely chosen to be with these people. We have developed a bond like I've never had with other friends. We talk, chat, email, and post to eachother everyday.

I'm going to update today. I PROMISE!

I promise to update tonight or tomorrow. Dumb life is getting in they way of my internet life!:upsidedow And, I've found myself the victim of insomnia. Maybe I should start writing updates at 4am.:crazy2:

1. Life has been getting in the way of my internet life too! But subbing everyday means more $$$ for Disney!

2. Melatonin. You can get it anywhere and it is safe and I find it very helpful when I get bouts of insomnia.

3. Great update! :thumbsup2

I am so glad that I found this TR!!!!!! I'm LOVING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

Thanks Nicole. I didn't know you were working again. So is that money for a family trip or a girl's trip?;) I hope to see a ticker in your siggie soon. I hope to see one in my siggie soon, but I'm not sure when that will happen.:sad2: Probably not without a really good code and a miracle.

That post, my friend, does not an update make! Waiting.....:hourglass
