I have read that the Pop Warner "contract" only allows them to choose between these resorts: Sports, Music, POR, and POFQ.

Now, Mousefest...that's a whole other thing...:confused3 I'm not sure when that is scheduled.

Sara

Weird - I'm quoting myself. :rotfl2:

ANyways, just answered my own question - Mousefest 2008 is scheduled for December 11 - 15, 2008 (they are doing a cruise portion prior to that). Whew. We don't need any more "smart" Disney people there than we already have! :lmao:

I forgot about Mousefest. We were there for 2 days of Mousefest and never would have known it. I know that they were at DS the same day as us according to their schedule, but the park was not crowded at all.

Why doesn't Pop stay at POP? Too confusing for them? Pop stays at Pop and drinks pop! Ok, I need to go do something productive!

Missed ya last night Sara!

I think I'm offended!:rotfl:

According to Pop Warner calendar on their website they have activities scheduled at WDW from Sunday 12/7 - Saturday 12/13. Do they stay at POP? I always thought they were at the All Stars? Maybe there are so many of them that the are at all of the values?

Yes, sara you are right about pop warner.

As far as Mousefest here's their schedule
SEA: 4-Night Disney Wonder Cruise -- December 7-11, 2008
LAND: Walt Disney World Events -- December 11-15, 2008
Mega Mouse Meet - December 13

We will not run into the mass groups of them, but there will be a lot of them that come in before the cruise. I was there with mousefest this past December and even during all the events, it didn't do anything to make it feel more crowded.

I'm not a breakfast person anyway so that would be fine with me. Michelle do you ever buy the souvie cup at the resort on your mini trips? This trip was the first time we didn't get it since we were on the dining plan. Plus we had a fridge in the room.

I'm sorry.:flower3: I can't wait to meet everyone in December. Michelle I was looking at our pics from our day together at Disney. What a great day!:)

I have to eat breakfast but usually just have something in the room unless we have an ADR scheduled. Good way to save a little $$ too.

I've never gotten the souvie cup before. I have a weird thing about using the same cup without being able to wash it. :scared:

That was a great day in December - is that coming up next in your TR? :woohoo:

Will we ever be able to shut up when we actually meet eachother? :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Sara

Michelle, I bring a teeny tiny bottle of dish soap with me. They have sinks in there with blazing hot water to wash them with. I refuse to drink out of a cup that is not clean.

Or you can get those Dove disposable cloths that have soap in them?

Great idea Kimmy! You're so smart! :thumbsup2

Michelle, they have these really cool things in the rooms called SINKS!!:rotfl: I know what you mean. We just wash ours after every use.

Not next, but soon. I have to get us throught the rest of Megan's bday first.

Whew. We like to talk over one another, huh?

:rotfl2: We're gonna hate eachother! I feel like I talked way too much when I met Michelle, but I was just so excited to have someone to talk to after a week with my family!

You didn't talk too much at all! I was nervous we wouldn't have anything to talk about. It was so nice to talk to an adult who shares my love of Disney!

Hi Yeti's. I'm glad to see you are still keeping up with the "we talk too much in our trip reports" tradition. Only this group could have 5 pages talking about only fanny packs and crocs.

I wear a 10, DDD. I have bigger feet than anyone in my entire family, which includes my dad and 2 brothers. They've always been huge. When I was young, my mom took me shoe shopping and I remember the salesperson telling my mom that she should just get shoeboxes and put laces on them for me. I did not think it was amusing at the time.

Kimmy, will it be okay if Flat Sharon sports a fanny pack? She complained last time about not being able to carry any lip gloss with her. And she needs to take her own money--I'm not paying for any more drinks for her, she just drinks too dang much.

The crocs website had a little foot chart you could print out and stand on to measure what size crocs you need. I'm a bit in between sizes so one size is just a little snugger than I want and the next size is a little roomier. I went with the bigger size. I have 2 pair of Mickey crocs, the navy with green trim and then the red with the black trim. And I don't just wear them at WDW. I wear them everywhere except to work (it's heels here, unfortunately). I must be in a pretty small minority because I do not think they are ugly. And my toes love me for them.

I am not a breakfast eater or a coffee drinker. I'm not a morning person at all. I have never been to a WDW food court--is breakfast type of food the only stuff they have?

Pakey - They have all sorts of food in the food courts depending on time of day. They have a breakfast menu in the morning and then the menu changes for lunch and again for dinner. I'm not a coffee drinker either. Coffee ice cream - yes, but coffee coffee - :scared:

BIG coffee drinker here! I need an IV...:rolleyes1

BTW, I was a 7 1/2 shoe before kids, now I am a 8 1/2. How does that happen anyway? :confused3 The only Crocs I have are the black mary jane alice style and I DO NOT own a fanny pack. :scared1: The kids all have em though! They loved having their own place to stash stuff.

Ok, how about lanyard thingies? Are those ok? I have a Tinkerbell one! :guilty:

Sara

Awww. that's true DIS friendship!

How about if I'm pushing an empty stroller? Habit, you know?

Of course we could rent a double Disney stroller and take turns riding in it! :rotfl: That would make for an interesting site!

Sara

Just thought I would tell you guys that I watched a video from a trip report on TGM of a guy from England who went to Disney for 3 weeks (can you imagine) and he posted a video of the Kitchen Sink. WOWSER! :scared1:

Still want it though! :rolleyes1

Yum! Can't wait. At least we have lots of people to share it with. :)
