Please keep us in your thoughts...

It must feel overwhelming right now not knowing. Best Wishes to you and your husband. I will certainly send prayers and lots of good will your way.

Sending positive thoughts and pd., and hoping this is something easily diagnosed and quickly treated.:grouphug:

Prayers and positive thoughts for you and your husband.

Thinking of you both. There is nothing worse than waiting!

Uncertainty is the worst! I am sending you lots of good thoughts and I hope you have answers soon so you can devise a plan!

Thanks everyone for your prayers. Unfortunately its what we feared it would be. Our next step is a biopsy to determine what kind of lymphoma and how far along it is to determine what course of treatment he will need.

I am sorry to hear this, how did they diagnose the lymphoma? Through fine needle aspiration? They suspected lymphoma with our son (similar discovery of enlarged nodes via CT scan), but it turned out to be papillary thyroid cancer that had progressed to the lymph system.

Not knowing is the worst and I wish you luck and good health soon. Our son currently has multiple enlarged nodes that they have not been able to identify why they are that way, including 8 nodules in his lungs. Currently, the plan is to "just wait and see" after 4 years of testing and treatment.

There are many new treatment options available and the outcome is so much better than it ever used to be.

Prayers for your family as you go through this difficult season. Please keep us posted.

I am so sorry to hear that news.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband

Good thoughts and prayers for your husband and your whole family while you go through this. :grouphug:

So far we have just had the CT scan done, next step is the biopsy. They cant do it with the needle, they have to do thoracic surgery I think? We are thinking positively about this and I'm already talking a Disney trip for us and our newborn for this time next year! Gotta keep looking forward!

Welcome to the Survivor's Club. This is a club that no one wants to join but once you are part of it you want to be a member for a long long time.

I am so glad to hear that you are talking about your Disney trip. I know for me that was a motivating thought whenever I was doing my chemo. From the very start I told my husband that I wanted a picture of my grand-daughter and me in Dumbo. I have my last chemo in a week and a half and a month later Operation Dumbo will happen. I have been to Disneyland many many times but this trip will be very special as we take our 2 yr old grand-daughter for the first time. With a newborn you will want to have all those pictures also. Find those things that will keep you looking forward.

Good luck and remember everyday is a great day to be alive!!! There is so much power in positive thinking.

Actually, that may be very good news after all (unless there are other tests showing lymphoma like maybe blood work?). We've learned a lot more about the lymph system than I ever care to know. They can become very inflamed over a chronic infection and remain that way for a while with few if any other symptoms. I may be wrong, but here's hoping it's something simple like a minor infection? I'll keep positive thoughts and prayers coming so you can enjoy that trip and congratulations on the new addition.

Oh you don't know how happy I would be if it were just an infection. The only symptom he had was extreme itching over his whole body which is a symptom of lymphoma. After tons of blood work the only thing that came up was his iron was very low. He's been taking an iron pill and it is now within normal range. The good news us that it just seems to be localized to his chest. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will just be an infection but if not we are just gonna have to kick this cancers butt!

Thoughts, prayers and strength and a bunch of pixie dust for you, your DH and your family! :grouphug:
