We had a really bad accident happen here in Columbus on Thursday. The woman killed was a family to some people in another group I belong to. Apparently her husband called the police department when she had not returned home that evening. They matched her description to the accident victim and she was gone before he arrived at the hospital. Another friend of mine witnessed this crash and said it was worse then you could even imagine. He was surprised anyone survived it. Melissa was only 34 and is survived by a son and husband. She was very close to her son according to her cousin. The saddest part is that there were suppossed to be barriers put up last fall. They may not have prevented her death but could have prevented the other death and the injuries.
