When you read comments about WDW eateries that when you see a large number of negative or positve reviews, part of that is an indication that many Dis-ers have visited there. E.G., you won't see too many negative reviews of the restaurant in Morrocco because not as many people have tried it as Alfredo's. :earsboy:

Hmmm.... I'm not sure that's the case, actually. I've read many more positive reviews of Marrakesh than Alfredos. While I agree with you that feedback online tends to be far more negative than the reality, and that the number of negative reviews isn't that useful, but I think if you see more positive reviews for one restaurant than another, you can rest assured that, on the average, folks really do enjoy the first restaurant more than the second restaurant.

I think part of the issue with both restaurants and resorts is the level of expectation. I know I have fallen prey to this too.
People will read such WONDERFUL praise for a certain resort, dish, restaurant, dessert, whatever.
The expectations are so high. And then the high expectations are not met, just because they were so high.

That's a good point Micca. I know one of the best meals I ever had at WDW was at Concourse Steakhouse, but since it's not as popular as Le Cellier and Yachtsman, sometimes people assume it's crummy. ;)

Ok....I'm sure my comment is not welcome....but...

I have eaten at both Alfredo's and Marrakesh. Marrakesh is some of the best food available anywhere....Alfredo's is worse than bad. JMO :)
