I am from Chicago and I'm new to Disney's Timeshare. My father is a cast member for WDW and I'm looking to visit him in the beginning of July from the 7th to the 12th. I'm looking to stay at either Caribbean Beach Resort or The Animal Kingdom Lodge but I'm not too sure how to go about it. Please let me know. Caribbean Beach and the Animal Kingdom lodge are not part of Disney's Vacation Club (Disney's timeshare).

All you would need to do is call 1-407-W-Disney and make a reservation. It is just like making a reservation at any other hotel chain. They will require a one nights deposit and the balance due later.

Since your father is a cast member he can get a discount on rooms. CBR is a beautiful resort. He will need to call and see what cast member rates are available for the times you want to go.

If you are talking DVC then you should ask on the DVC board here on the DIS.
