Best wishes to your friend John. This is such a sudden terrifying thing...I know several who have gone on to perfectly normal productive lives after surgery and I hope he does too.

Got a call yesterday morning that the husband of my wife's best friend (they're like sisters) was medivaced to the hospital because of a stroke/anurism(sp?) He's in surgery now and the drs said he has about 30 percent odds of pulling through.He's only 48. They have 3 boys (7,11 and 15). Not right.

We will include him and his family in our prayers tonight.

I had a brain anuerism almost 9 years ago and the doctors also gave me a 30 % chance. I made it ok and, hopefully, your friend can come of of it with little difficulty.
