My dining plans!! This is our first trip that we are going to actually enjoy all of the food that WDW had to offer. When we have gone in the past, we always brought Nutragrain bars for breakfast, picked up a few counter service meals to split for lunch and then tried to hold off till we got back to the resort for a counter service dinner or go off site for something.

Well, we decided to do the DDP for free (of course being a cheap person), so now we get to eat at some of the wonderful places I have only read about and drooled over pictures.

We have a very large family including small children. We have done Cindy's and Whispering Canyon before (in a moment the my cheap-skated-ness must have worn thin)--so I did not want to do those again. We are going for four nights. Here were my ideas for places to eat:

Night 1: 'Ohana
Breakfast (day 2): Chef Micky's
Night #3: Sci-Fi
Night #4: Le Cellier

I could not get Le Cellier when I called for ADR's so I went with Biergarten--which I think might be a mistake. I cook preety good German food and grew up in a Greman community--so I know this type of food.

I need to know what you all think and what you would change. We will be at MK on the 2nd day, MGM/AK the 3rd day and Epcot the 4th day.

Thanks so much for your imput!!

'Ohana is very good. We have eaten there before and would definately go back.
Chef Mickey's has a great breakfast. I love it and so did my wife. Great characters too.
We have eaten at Sc-Fi before too and, although the food was not great, the atmosphere is awesome. If you are going there, dont expect to be wowed by the food. The atmosphere is what you are there for. Their lunch menu is better IMHO.
Le Cellier is wonderful too. Try every day to get an ADR. Try to eat at an off time like 4:30 or even try lunch if you can. Get this one if you can.

Our friends mother is straight from Germany and always cooks for us. However, we thought Biergarten was pretty good in comparison. Plus, we enjoyed sitting with other people and talking and also the entertainment was fun. We're really glad we went there and will be happy to return!

Get the best meals you can for the DDP. You are off to a good start but I agree about Biergarten... here are some others we like and that are good DDP deals:

Chefs de France
Cape May Cafe
Le Cellier (keep trying!)

Check out menus on allearsnet.com

Personally I would skip the Biergarten myself. Le Cellier is great so is San Angel Inn at Mexico or Chefs de France. I love Boma, so I would recommend that. There are reviews on this site as well as this here: http://www.mouseextra.com/
to help give you a sense of whats what. Also this site has many of the menus
