please help!

I have been to wdw many times, but usually just for a couple days we are looking at booking a trip for end of jan- early feb 2007 (i know far away) for a stay of about 15 nights.Does anyone know if i book in the next couple weeks and then continue to call over the next couple months looking for a cheaper rate can i change my ressie. I am considering an AP in the hopes of a cheaper rate(not only reason of purchase). Has anyone ever booked a room then changed after finding cheaper rate. What is the penlty? Would it be better to wait till we are closer? the main reason for booking now is to have it completly paid for long before we go! Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thank you!!!

I'm not sure you can book this far ahead or not. I know the Disney website only goes thru 2006. We have booked a little over a year out, then changed when a discount came out with no penalty. I'm sure you'd be fine to wait a while since the rooms really don't go that fast unless you are looking to get a standard rom at WL. Seems like those go fast. Good luck!!!

thank you. I called and they said they could book through march 2007! that is why i was wondering! we are still debating the hotel. We have stayed at all the AS, POR, CB,and off site. We would like to try for AKL for at least a couple nights really can not afford the whole trip. sure wish we could. i thank you in advance for any help!!!!
