i saw the WOC of super thread but can't find what I'm looking for. With the dining package, are the menus the same? Do the restaurants have different viewing spots or do all dining packages go in same area? Is the dining package worth it? We've never seen WOC and with our petite 11 year old, would love to have a good view. Debating whether to just get a fastpass.

We have done both, fastpass only and the WOC dining at Carthay. Our view was slightly better with the dining package, but not by much. We just got there earlier with the fastpass.
If I remember correctly, the dining package area is the same, regardless of which restaurant you choose. Carthay was amazing though! We loved everything about it!

When I ate at Carthay, we ordered off the regular menu. Then when we were done with our meal, they gave us tickets for WoC. From what I remember, the section we sat in was near the yellow section, in the middle of the Paradie Park Bay seating area; the rounded section where you go down the steps (I hope that makes sense :p). It was nice because we didn't have to get there early to get decent seats, and when I went, this seating area was less crowded. You can get still good seats with a regular FP, but to get real good seats, next to a rail where no one is in front of you, I would get there at least 45 minutes early.

Edit:
There is another thread about adding different food items to the WoC package, so there must be a set menu now. Here is a link to the thread http://www.disboards.com/threads/extras-in-carthay-circle-woc-menu.3402187/

Thank you both for your insight . Now to figure out what to do. I don't like to be on a schedule to eat, I'm leaning toward a FP. But having to get there extra early isn't my idea of fun either. Decisions, decisions

Yes get there early with your FP. The crowd for the queue starts early. When the CM start setting up the ropes for the line the crowd follows them looking for where the beginning of the queue will be......it's a bit of a gong show :crowded:
