I am really confused about the schedule for the Animators Palatte on board for the western itinerary. All posts list

LAPLAPL - Show on Wed, but we will be in Cozumel until 11PM on Wed and formal night "may" be on Thursday now so will they do the show on Sunday when we are in key west...ugh... Lets just face it, this is not the favorable rotation...

APLAPLA - Some say show on Sat, some say show on Tuesday ???

PLAPLAP - Show on Monday - this seems ok...

Not that I think anyone will know the answer to this, but I just wanted to pose the question. I am trying to figure out how to book Palos dinner, but it looks like I will have to wait and see what my dinner rotation is first... As if I need more to think about.

Shhh... Don't want everyone to know, but:

I'm thinking about booking for Monday night - since we'll be at sea that day- no need to rush back to the ship - and it doesn't interfere with the planned "theme" nights (as far as last I heard)

:D

That is what I was planning too, but what if we get the PLAPLAP rotation. You will miss your only opportunity to see the Animators Palatte show.

This is true...

I guess we can't get everything :(

I was actually counting on the LAPLAPL rotation since it's only DW and me. This reasoning came from the Magical Disney Cruise Guide:

"The restaurant rotation seems to be based on the makeup of your party:

Have a lot of little ones...count on Animator’s, Parrot Cay then Lumiere’s.

Have say 7-10 year olds...count on Parrot Cay, Lumiere’s and then Animator’s

Have older teens, senior citizens, honeymooners, or just adults...count on Lumiere’s, Animator’s and then Parrot Cay.

Of course this isn’t guaranteed. They still need to move groups around to fill the dining room evenly."

There really are no guarantees as to what rotation you'll get. My wife and I have no kids and have always had the LAPLAPL rotation, but we met a childless couple in the line to board the ship last time, and they had PLAPLAP. You never can tell.

If you're really worried about missing the show, you can book Palo later in the evening, and go to Animator's Palate for maybe an appetizer and a drink and to watch the show.

While the Animator's show is fun, personally, I'd miss it for Palo anytime!
