please help with stupid e-bay question

I'll be the first to say, I know very little about e-bay.
I just ordered some sneakers new in box, the seller answered my question and said they are authentic.
Great! I did buy it now. I went through all of the steps and put in my credit card number to pay through paypal.
I got to a screen that asked if I wanted to save my credit card info. for future paypal orders to make check out quicker. I didn't want to so I left that screen. I thought that was an option for future purchases, not a requirment for now. I have no history of buying anything the last 30 days, and I received no confirmation to my e-mail to paypal. Does that meant this transaction didn't go through? I would be hesitant to reorder just in case. But I thought that you usually get some kind of instant response from paypal to your e-mail about the purchase, Or I thought it would atleast show in my buying history. How do I know if it went through?

I would wait a little bit to make sure the paypal e-mail isn't delayed, and then maybe message the seller.

You can go into your payment history, to see if it went through, but I always get a confirmation email when my payment is completed.
