Hi All,

We are heading down the second week in May, and for some reason I am stressing out more then usual about my dining reservations...Could someone please look and make suggestions on what I am missing? The group is me, my husband, DD (9), DD (8) and DS (4), with my mom possibly coming down on day three of the week. We are on the Dining Plan, but don't mind paying out of pocket for extras, and staying at the GF. I used to plan early breakfasts in the park, but that has been voted down by everyone, as my family enjoys sleeping much more than I do. Here are the plans so far...

Arrival - Wednesday Early AM
Magic Kingdom Day - Dinner - Crystal Palace - 6PM
Thursday - Epcot - Dinner - Coral Reef - 5:20
Friday - Magic Kingdom - Breakfast - Ohana - 8:30
Saturday - Hollywood Studios - Breakfast - Be Our Guest -8:55; Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic - 4:30
Sunday - Animal Kingdom - Lunch - Yak and Yeti 12:45
Monday - Undecided - Dinner 1900 Park Fare
Tuesday - Departure

Except for Ohana and 1900 Park Fare, which are two family favorites, I am not really set on any of these.
Be Our Guest only had availability for breakfast when I looked for reservations, as we just booked the trip a few days ago. How likely is it that there are cancellations while we are there?

Thank you all for any feedback you can give! I appreciate it!

Cancellations happen up to 48 hours before. If you don't get your first choice, keep trying. It does happen.
When you say what are you missing, I guess the question becomes what do you think you might be missing? Characters? Food quality? Overall experience?

Do you have Park Hopper? Because you aren't using it any other time. BOG is at Magic Kingdom, and all the way back. Then you're going to come all the way back out and go to DHS?

Sprry for the delay in reply, work takes away from planning Disney trips. :( I don't know what, if anything I am missing. Overall experience, I guess. We have enough character meals. Is there anything in Epcot or Animal Kingdom (or resorts near by) that would be better then the options selected? I will keep an eye on cancellations, though.

I do have Park Hopper. Since we are staying at GF, we normally end up going to MK for a bit, and we like that it gives us the option of changing parks. Though I see your point about BOG, and I actually got a breakfast reservation for the day we come in at 10:45. No going all the way out and coming back in anymore. Thanks for the suggestion.

Well that's awkward...I was wondering who had my normal screen name, and I guess it was me from when I planned a tip in 2014, under a different email address.

I would do BOG for MK day and Ohana for DHS day as well. Less logistical maneuvering.

Experience - Sanna lunch. Watching the animals while eating fantastic food can't be beat or Tiffin's the new restaurant in AK is getting rave reviews.
Epcot- Something different? Try the restaurants at the Boardwalk (Captain's Grill, Cape May, Flying Fish, Yachtsman or Crew Cup Lounge) or on HS day try the restaurants at the Swan & Dolphin. Most at the Swalphin are not on the dining plan and they are not Disney owned so their food seems to be a bit better. unless you are dead set on the Fantasmic package.

You do not have anything slated for Disney Springs so not sure if you are going there or not this trip. Art Smith's homecoming and Wolfgang Puck Express. Hands down if you go.
