Would be grateful for some info.

I'm English and booked 18 months ago, a package of hotel, tickets and dining with Walt Disney UK. I booked my ADRs at 180 +10 and I've got a mega spreadsheet! I'm a planner! My brother lives in Toronto and has decided to join us. He hasn't made any travel arrangements at just over 3 weeks out. He is the opposite of a planner.

I've now added an extra night at the start of our hol (at All Star Music) and included my brothers name on it. We qualify for magic bands, and I've linked our tickets and made FP reservations, but can't include my brother in that because he doesn't yet have park tickets.

I could buy tickets on the UK site for him, however I believe if these are bought independently of a package (which they would be because he is only named on 1 night of reservation, and I can't change my main res without incurring penalties), even if they are from WD, they can't yet be linked to an MDE account, so we wouldn't be able to make FP+ reservations until we arrived at WDW.

Can you tell me what tickets are offered to Canadians through Disney and how much they cost? (In the UK we get only 'Ultimate' tickets which are park hopping, waterparks included, for either 7, 14 or 21 days.) I'd like to do a price comparison. Are they basically the same as US tickets at an appropriate exchange rate?. Also do you know if Canadian tickets can be linked to MDE if they are bought from Disney but not bought as part of an accommodation package? Bro is so totally disorganised / relaxed I can't get him to do any research or planning....at all...

Thanks very much in advance for any help you can give.

We don't get special tickets. We have to buy the American ones.

Look for the prices on the American disney.com site - or if they are hidden, you can find them at mousesavers.com.

The max lengh is 10-day tickets.

There are a few ways to get them cheaper (ordering online from undercover tourist). If he has CAA, he could buy them here at his local store. Otherwise, he would buy the tickets at Disney and they could add it to his band at the resort.

We get the exact same tickets as Americans.:)

Should add at 3 weeks out, he really should just purchase them at the resort. But you can certainly do the research on the best MYW tickets for him in advance. :thumbsup2

Thank you so much for your replies. I'm not computer literate enough to get to the US site as it just diverts me back to the UK one, but coincidentally received the Birnbaum guide in the post today which has the prices of the MYW tickets. Made me realise how lucky we Brits are with the tickets we get - as long as staying 2 weeks (not good for short stays).

Think we will just have to wait until we get there to sort it out :) I will recommend Undercover Tourist to my brother.

Thanks again!
