please help with a ? about booking a FP and tickets

First off, let me say that I am sorry if this question has been asked before. I just need some clarification. We are taking our 2 children to WDW in early Sept. We will probably have 6 day hopper tickets booked as a magic your way package through Disney. We plan on going to the parks Monday through Saturday and we leave on Sunday on a 3:30 pm flight. I plan on using Sunday morning as a sort of back-up if we didn't get to something during the week. Here are my questions:

1) Can I add a day to our tickets once we are there? From what I have read, I think that we can.

2) If our tickets are only for 6 days, can I make FP reservations for the 7th day? I was thinking of maybe taking my daughter to MK on Sunday morning to see Anna & Elsa and of course I would like a FP for this. So, could I make a FP reservation for the 7th day without a ticket for that day?

1) yes you can after so many days it's only around $10 per ticket per day
2) not sure about that. They only let me do the number of days I have tickets for
