Please help with 1st day advice.

We will be arriving in Orlando at 9:30 AM staying at CBR next Thursday. My grandson wants to go to Magic Kingdom as soon as we arrive but Thursday is Extra Magic Hours Day at Magic Kingdom, correct? Is it a bad idea to go to Magic Kingdom late morning on Thursday? We have park hopper passes.
Any advice is appreciated.

It is going to be very busy, but you do have a park hopper, so I say go, let your grandson see MK and if you can't get much done, head over to Epcot it is bigger so the crowds don't always seem so bad, or head back to the room for a swim since it will be hot. Mk has late night on Sundays, we found we always got a lot done that night. Epcot has late night on Fridays. it seems to go better doing the late nights then the early mornings. Have Fun, I wish I was going no matter how crowded it is.

Thank you. I was thinking that the Magic Evening Hours will be best suited for our family too. Thanks for the suggestions.
