I know this should be easy info to obtain, lol, but I'm getting so confused. On the official WDW website, if I want a room for 5, they bump me to suites, so I can't tell if it's because there are no rooms for 5 or what. I know my first choice, WL, only has rooms for 4, and a deluxe room for 6. Can anyone tell me if any other deluxe has standard rooms (not suites) that accommodate a family of 5 (and how much they are if you know)? I know POR does, but we'd like to be a in a deluxe if we can do it without booking two adjoining rooms.

(Basically, I'm trying to decide if it's cost effective to go when youngest DS is still just under 2 and considered an infant, or when he's past 2.)

Deluxe standard rooms that fit five are: Poly, GF, Contemporary, BWI, and BC/YC. AK and WL standard rooms only accomodate 4 but their deluxe rooms accomodate 5. HTH.

It's kind of hard to find the info (allearsnet has some of it in their resort descriptions) but some of the day beds use standard sized twin matresses (I'm pretty sure YC and CR have these) and some of the day beds are smaller (BWI). So, if your 5th person isn't a small child, you may want to investigate the day bed lengths.

We stayed at CR and the daybed in the room was a standard twin. Anyone except a large adult could easily sleep on it.

We stayed at AKL in a room with a Queen, 2 bunks, and a good sized day bed. Had a view of the animals, and it was very nice.

We stayed at the BC with 5 in July. My 17 year old DS slept on the daybed. He was quite comfy! It was the standard room. :flower:
