Hi there! We're staying at the Poly 2/9 - 2/15 with an Annual Pass rate. Now, thing is we don't have AP's yet but we plan on purchasing them before we check in. What would be the easiest way to do this? Since we're staying at the Poly can we purchase them at TTC? Will they be activated??

We are driving - not flying so the airport isn't an option.

Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks

You can do 2 things. 1) Purchase your AP vouchers at your local (if you have one) Disney Store and then activate them at one of the park entrances before you check in (last time we were there they were doing very little at TTC as far as activation) 2) Go to one of the park entrances before you go to your resort and purchase and activate your AP. Easiest will probably be MK since you could go ahead and park at the Poly and take the Monorail over to MK go to the ticket window, purchase your AP and then get back on the monorail (if you so desire) and go back to the Poly to check in.

Either way you are going to have to go to a window to get your AP activated.

Have fun and maybe we will bump into each other!

for the info. You're right - it won't be hard to get the pass at MK since we're at the Poly.

But, isn't there a way to buy an activated pass? Somewhere? Maybe Dowtown Disney?

Thanks to all.

The following information is according to Deb Wills' website:

Where can I buy Annual Passports (AP's) and Premium Annual Passports (PAP's)?
The following places will send you a voucher for your AP/PAP. This voucher must be exchanged for the actual pass at any WDW ticket window or Guest Relations window or at the Guest Relations offices at Downtown Disney or Downtown Disney West Side:
- Most Disney Stores throughout the U.S.
- online at www.disney.com
- by calling 407-WDISNEY

The following places will sell you an activated AP/PAP. No exchanging required:
- Any WDW major park ticket window
- Guest Relations at the major parks or at Downtown Disney and West Side
- The Ocala Disney Information Center on I-75 in Ocala, FL
- Disney's EarPort at Orlando International Airport (2 locations)
- Character Warehouse at Belz Mall 2 in Orlando
- Character Premiere at Belz Mall 1 in Orlando
- Character Premiere at Orlando Premium Outlets Mall in Lake Buena Vista

Do I have to actually have an AP/PAP before I can call to get any special AP resort rates?
No you don't. You can call and book the rates without having the AP/PAP in hand. The policy about having it at the time of resort check-in is clear as mud. Some people have been allowed to obtain the rate at checkin with only their AP/PAP voucher. Others have been told to return to the resort front desk to show the desk CM after activating the pass. Still others have not been asked for any AP/PAP at all. The official Disney policy states an activated AP/PAP pass is needed at checkin. You may want to avoid any potential embarrassment at check-in by having an activated pass at that time.

I hope this helps. :)
