I am going Nov 11th for 5 night, to get the silver plan at WL it is 2491.60 but for the gold plan for pop century is 2499.71. That is all food (breakfast lunch and supper) recreation, passes to all parks . for 8.10 cents I can have it all but it isnt WL. OK, I tell people it is only a room and not your residencey but I can't seem to think that wya. Please, help me out, if you had the choice and it was your money what would you do? Thnaks for the help :D

Are you going with small children? We find that we like to pay more and have a balcony, that way we can put our kids to bed and still have some quiet time to ourselves. What are the room sizes? If you're a family of 4 or 5 you might want to choose the bigger room. I don't usually buy packages, what is the silver plan? We often find that we don't have time for 3 meals a day. We like to get either a late b'fast buffet or early lunch and that gets you thru until supper. Hope this helps.

The Gold Plan is a LOT of food - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I think the Silver Plan is the best of the choices, especially since wishes are pooled - there are no "adult" wishes and "kid" wishes - just "wishes", so you can get more value for your money. (I.e. Use wishes for adult meals, but pay for kids separately.) With the Gold Plan, I think I would spend my time worrying about doing everything on the plan to get my money's worth.

That's just me though. If you are all big eaters, and can handle three sit down meals per day, then go for it. Even though DH and I are big eaters, one sit down per day is enough for us.

I would go for WL, but that's just because we were just there, and loved it. ;)

WL and PC are no comparison. I would do WL. I agree with the Gold plan, you worry about trying to get your monies worth. WL is awesome!!!!

We recently stayed at WL on the Gold Plan. We were visiting during Christmas week and knew we would not have patience to stand the long lines we expected to face. We decided to focus our vacation on doing things you could reserve, and not so much on riding rides. (We were there to see our DS march before Spectro Magic.)

We chose the WL because it was the least expensive option on site that offered queen sized beds. We have a king bed at home, DH is somewhat of a bed hog, and I find myself clinging at the side of the bed anytime I have to sleep in a double. We needed two beds because DD was joining us.

We had no trouble getting our monies worth out of the Gold Plan. I think we left two meals unused out of the 27 that were included in the package. We ate like kings, to make up for it, there will be no eating once DD goes back to school next week :) . We really took advantage of the recreational opportunities (parasailing and golfing were two big ticket items we did).

If we wanted to spend our time visiting attractions in the parks, we may have been stressed out trying to get our monies worth out of the gold plan. When we're in park mode, we only eat 1 sit down meal a day, and we rarely do any of the recreation activities.

For this trip, the Gold Plan was perfect. We were right--the crowds were enormous. But I doubt I'd get it again, because we won't go again when its so busy. (Although it didn't take much golfing to make the plan worth while and DH loves to golf.) I know, however, that I will stay at the WL again. We loved it!

Good luck with your decision--you can't go wrong either way!

I stayed at Pop for one night during our Dec trip...while I thought the themeing was great.....I'm not a fan of Full size beds...I prefer a Queen.....Unless I had to I don't think I would stay there again due to the size of the beds....I don't spend a lot of time in the room but I do SLEEP there....and I want to be comfortable...and a full size bed doesn't provide that...

I vote for the WL! It's your vacation, if you get a special feeling at a certain hotel, stay there.

Another vote for the WL here--I think you will really enjoy it, and the silver plan still has a LOT to offer! :D

I vote for WL. I agree about 3 paid meals/day being too much pressure to get my money's worth. And WL "wins" -- just gorgeous!

No question for me. I'd go with the WL. I've rarely heard of anyone getting their money's worth out of the plans, so would spend more on a place I love to stay that included less rather than stay at the All Stars or Pop century.

We stayed at the WL and did the Silver Plan in July. It was great and the wishes with the Silver Plan was more than enough.

Another vote for WL!

No contest!!!

I'd eat counter food the whole trip to stay at a deluxe if I had a choice.

We spend a LOT more time than we usually do at the WL resort during our stay last Sept.

I have decided to stay at WL. Thank you everybody for helping me out. I am always so undecided/ When we were there in June of 2003 we stayed concierge but this time standard romm and when I get there I might pay t p upgrade, I doubt we will be in the room much cause at night we'll go to PI. Again thanks for your help :D

GailT,

Great choice...Maybe you'll get a free upgrade...
