I can't for the life make the final choice for our trip. I keep waivering back and forth so I'd like some help…I'm trying to decide between Ohana, WCC and LTT for dinner. For this trip it will be me, my DH, DS-3 and inlaws. We have 2 character breakfasts planned (CP and CM), but all of our dinners are nicer places geared towards us adults more then our son (Coral Reef, Kona, Spoodles and Le Cellier). I really want one fun dinner in, but good food is important to us. I initially was set on LTT, but reviews are either great or horrible, nothing seems down the middle. If it tastes anything like frozen dinners, I don't want that. So then my thought shifted to Ohana because of the fun atmosphere and better reviews on the food itself. Now WCC keeps creeping into the mix because we've never been to Wilderness Lodge and that sounds like a fun restaurant too. Please help me decide!

Thanks in advance!

Of those 3, I'd go with Ohana. We eat there everytime we go to WDW. My DH loved LTT. I thought the food was just ok. It's been awhile since we've been to WCC so I can't really remember the food (the kids have turned my mind to mush;) ). The atmosphere was fun but I thought the fun was a little too over the top for the younger kids. My kids are definitely not shy but they didn't really participate in the "fun". They just listened. Very funny to the adults and older kids but over the younger kids' heads. The fun at Ohana is geared much more toward 3 to 9 yr olds. Just be sure to ask for a table in the main dining area so you can see your DS hula hoop etc and so he can see you. We have 4 kids and nos. 3 and 4 needed DH to get them started in the fun.:thumbsup2

I ate at LTT last new years eve and LOVED it! LTT has always been my favorite place to lunch ( i love their menu) but until last year I had never done the character dinner. The characters were very fun attentive and I (a picky eater) enjoyed the food. It is family style, and i was upset that i couldn't order my fave colonial salad, but i enjoyed it none the less. Its ham, and turkey, mash potatoes, and veggies. and i really enjoyed the apple pie a la mode for desssert. my advice is to try the LTT if you all like to eat thanksgiving dinner, but if your looking for variety on the menu try somewhere else (or book LTT for lunch thats what i'm doing!!!) I have been lunching at LTT since i was a kid and i think your son would like their lunch menu. i remember it was hard for me to switch to the adult menu when i "grew up":)

Our family loves LTT, but if you're not a Stouffers person, it's not for you.

I think your family would love WCC and it would be fun to visit WL. We love the lodge and love WCC. There are pony rides around the restaurant, so as for activities, it should be very comparable to Ohana's dinner.

I really liked the food at LTT and WCC but the service has been marginal. At both places our servers were duds and we felt like they were trying to get us in and out. No fun at all....

At Ohana, we have always had great food and great service...

I haven't tried WCC but plan to one day:cutie: 'Ohana and LTT are 2 of my favorites and I would have a tough time if I could only pick one. I really liked the food at both places and the service was great also. I guess what would be the deciding factor for me would be if I wanted characters or not. They are great at LTT and because it isn't a buffet you don't run the risk of missing any of them:cutie:

I would say go for WCC. We have eaten there the past two trips and my kids had a ball and we all thought the food was tasty! It is a good mix of fun and good food. Of course, if you get a dud server, that would take alot of the fun out of it.

Ohana is another good choice but lacks a little of the fun factor. They do have the games for the kids, but my kids were never interested in them. We have felt very rushed at Ohana in the past, although that wouldn't keep me from eating there in the future. The bread pudding dessert is to die for!

It doesn't sound to me that LTT would be a good choice for you. In my opinion, the food just doesn't measure up. Very "pre-packaged" tasting to me. Nothing special at all. JMHO.

OHana's use to be a place everyone loved. Now it seems almost split.
LTT most anyone likes. It is sponsored by Stauffer's. But the food is good. (Not the best I have ever eaten. But good.) With the character interaction I think it is worth the $. Any sit down character meal beats standing in a long line waiting for a character signature.
I think out of your three choices you really can't go wrong with any of them with a little one in tow. Go by your itinerary that day if you can't decide.

Thanks for all of the replies. Of course, responses are split, which should be expected. I know that we can't really go wrong no matter what, but all this making reservations so far in advance makes people stew and stew about decisions unneccessarily! I kind of see the point about WCC maybe being for the older kids & adults more than younger kids. I think right now I"m leaning towards Ohanas, but of course, this is always subject to change. (Probably 1/2 dozen times).

Thanks again for your input!
