PLEASE HELP! Trying to Combine WDW & Universal...SO CONFUSED !

Can you move to Universal on the 11th? It's their Mardi Gras celebration, and it's alot of fun. The parade is a little like the old Epcot parade.

We went to WDW and Universal in July. We always stay offsite at Windsor Hills and have a car. I wanted to try a Universal hotel but couldn't bring myself to spend $300 a night. So, we stayed at WH and drove. The drive was quick (15/20 minutes) and we had no issues not having the FOTL. We got there for rope drop and were done with each park by late afternoon. Plus, it was nice not having to pack up and move. Have a great trip!

We went to universal last year for the first time and rented a car for 2 days so we drove from disney to universal. we did ioa and universal in one day and it was quite hectic. i think next time i woud like to stay on site and enjoy the parks more...it would be perfect if it was in the middle of the vacation so you can still use magical express...

We were thinking of staying in a villa this time as we have heard good things and are also going to do things other than Disney this time.

Has anyone else stayed in a vacation home in the area?
