Please Help!!!! To go with family or not

Thanks everyone for all the feed back we have decided to have everyone stay where ever they please (we will not be paying for that) but we will still purchase tickets for the kids a lot of ppl were up set but at this point i don't care. Since certain ppl had issues with having a room next to this person this will eliminate the drama. So far everyone is ok with this except one family who said staying onsite was way too much so i found a hotel for them which they seem to be ok with. Most families will be staying onsite and I will make a packet of what we will be doing each day and where we will meet. I will never plan a group trip again its just to much ppl to please... I booked our room today at AKL villas:banana::banana::banana:

:thumbsup2 Great decision! You can never please that many people. The ones that aren't happy - so what, they'll get over it - not your fault, or your problem. They should be grateful you are still paying for the children's tickets :goodvibes Go, have lots of fun pixiedust:

Go with just YOUR family and meet up with the others! When we went in 2007, we planned a Disney vacay around some family that was visiting there at the same time. We had arranged to go to MK one day but my grandma said no, we should go the following day to accommodate my preteen cousins. Then I woke up to spotting and landed in Celebration Hospitals ER for an emergency D&C so my kids missed out on MK because my grandma guilted me into waiting an extra day.

I was on bedrest for the next few days and so my kids missed out on the parks completely because my husband wanted to keep an eye on me and didn't want my relatives to take the kids out.

In a nutshell: Do what is best for YOUR family and if you get to meet up with the others for a lunch or a pool afternoon, great. If that doesn't pan out, then at least you all have fun

1st off, OMG I missed you! Last time you posted you were pregnant. WOW she is 2! congrats!!!! I had been thinking of you and would come on to see if you had posted or not.

I think you made the right decision on your trip. you can never please everyone, you just have to do what is best for you, DS and your DD!
