We are heading to WDW for the first time. The only thing I have already ordered and paid for is our MVMCP tickets.

Do I have to have my room reservations before I can make any advance dining reservations?

Thank you so much!

Somebody else will be able to answer more certainly, but I know I was asked for my reservation number when I called to make dining reservations.

edited to correct my thoughts:

After reading Mick's post I went to Allears.net and confirmed what Mick said:

"Who can make Priority Seatings?

It used to be only guests staying at WDW or Downtown Disney resorts and hotels could make PS. Now, anybody can."

Thank You! It seems like I read that somewhere, but wanted to verify it with those of you who are so much more knowledgeable!

You do NOT need to have a room reservation in order to make Advance Dining Reservations. You could be staying off-site, on a day trip or live in Orlando and could still make ADRs. You can use your telephone number in lieu of a room reservation.
