Hi all! So my dh has an annual pass. We have 7 days of fp booked for an august trip he may come on with me but he is not on the reservation (so I could only book 7 days due to the annual pass 7 day limitation).

Today is my 60-day booking window for our October trip, he is on the reservation, but after 3 days the system says his fp limit is reached? I don't understand how that can be true. Not sure what to do?

Thanks!

Unless the resort stay is longer than 7 days, he is still limited to the 7 days for AP holders. Since you are saying that he can only make 3 days worth of FP, it sound like you are there for a few days longer than that. It will only let you make reservations up to the number of days you are staying onsite. So, since he already has the 7 days booked, those count against the number of days on the reservation. He can't have 7 days + the number of days on the reservation.

You could do a couple of things, the first being add him to the first reservation. I wouldn't do it if you have a package, since you are well within the 45 days for changes While they may not charge you to add him on (and increase the price), they would charge you if you had to remove him.

The other option (and what I would probably do) is to only make him FP now for the FP that won't be there to make later. This would mean I would probably cancel some of the August FP to make sure I had good choices for October. Keep in mind most of the FP selections will be plentiful later in the game. I would definitely make sure he has any 7DMT and A&E now. You should probably be okay to wait another month to make most other FP choices (though not all times may be available)

Thank you so much for the response - I called Disney technical support at 7 and they told me about the 10-day thing which is how I was able to do 7 in August and then 3 in October.

I am renting DVC points in August, and emailed the member to ask about adding my DH - but I don't want to be bothersome to him so if it is a big deal then we will just live with it.

Thanks for your suggestions - I did exactly that with FP booking for our 2 MK days with 7DMT and A&E, and then an EPCOT evening where we plan to ride Soarin'. I guess either he can add him to my ressie, or in September I'll be able to book the rest!
