PLEASE HELP! Question MVMCP - worth it?

I just found out there is a MVMCP on 11/30 (I guess I wasn't paying attention - thinking all that was in December). We are going to be in Disney 11/21-24. Then we are driving south to visit in-laws but are driving back to Orlando on 11/30 to catch flight out on 12/1 (9AM flight - didn't want to drive from south FL early on Monday so we thought we would just hang out and swim, etc at a hotel in Orlando on Sunday night). Should we really make an effort to see MVMCP? Is it worth it? Are the rides open?

Also, how far is the airport (MCO) from Disney? We have a car but our hotel ressies are in Orlando airport area. If we are MVMCP until 12 how long 'til we are back to Orlando? Although, my flight is not at the crack of dawn or anything I do need to get some sleep.

From what I've read here you can get into MK @ 4PM with your MVMCP ticket; you're herded somewhere from 6p-7p then MVMCP is 7P to midnight.

Most of the attractions are open + some extra holiday stuff.

MK is about 20 miles from MCO.

Worth it? That's up to you

It is a fun evening, but sounds like you guys are on the go quite a bit and an early AM flight out, should be at MCO by 7. It's doable, depends on your stamina, LOL.

And when home, try and make it to a Chicago DIS meet, would love to meet ya. Check in on the Meet and Community boards here. We should have another in Jan/Feb.

Our family (DH, DW and teens) loved it last year and will do it again this year. We always go in winter when parks close early, so it was a treat to be there late. Crowds were non-existant. We rode Buzz over and over, and Splash Mountain four times in a row between 11:30 and 12:00 without getting off. Snow on main street was fun and we got a goofy family portrait.

I think its about 20-30 minutes to the airport.

hi i'm on my moms post name i'm only ten and the mvmcp is so much worth it. The rides do stay open and you're in the park while it's closed we rode splash mtn. 3 times in a row without getting off. It's at MK i you did not know.

It sounds so cool that we are going twice in December! I think it's a "must do" for any WDW vacation during the holiday season. Mickey
