Hello,

A friend of mine just returned from her trip to Universal and she said she couldn't find a map of the parks :scared1:

Could you help me figure out where we pick up park maps are so that we're not roaming around aimlessly? I've bought the tickets where you can go between the 2 parks, so I'll need maps to both parks (US and IOA)

I looked at Universal's website and the map they show is an interactive map - I'm willing to print out a map of the parks ahead of time if needed.

Also - do they have show time information or do the various shows just repeat every x amount of time?

Thanks!

Right after you walk through the gates, towards the right in the middle of the walkway there is a pretty big cart with park maps. If you're looking for it, I'd say it's pretty hard to miss! They're updated with the daily show times, etc.

Also, if you're out in the park and you need a map, you can ask at the stores at the ride exits - they usually have them behind the counter. Sometimes they don't have the most up-to-date showtimes though.

I've been wondering this too...we are headed in May & I didn't know if we needed to print maps before hand.

Do the resorts carry maps? We are staying @ RPR.

They are everywhere and if you still can't find one ask anyone that works there. :thumbsup2

There are concierge/ticket info desks right off the main lobby at RPR. I'm sure they would have park maps.

I emailed customer service and asked them to mail me 2 (one for each kid). Had them in hand in about a week. Very nice!

I was able to add an App for my Iphone with a very basic map. Hoping that will at least keep me from wandering around.

OK - I feel better. Right at the entrance and in stores and just ask. All good advice! :thumbsup2

if you have either Unofficial Guide or Passporter there is a Universal section with both maps & touring plans/strategies.

if looking for best reference book check out kelly monaghan's Universal Orlando book:thumbsup2

The showtimes vary from week to week and based on the season.

I am not sure how your friend missed the maps, since they're practically everywhere.

Just ask someone and they will almost always have a map for you. :)

I'm sitting here looking (and wishing I was back) at three brochures from Universal. One with maps of both parks and the list of adventures, descripiton of rides, restaurants etc. One with theTimes & Information and one devoted especially to WWOHP. I picked them up as I walked into the park.

On the list of 'show times' is the Frog Choir (at Harry Potter) listed or do they just randomly come out and do a show? Thanks!

One more tidbit for the OP....the maps are in the same map "brochure". There's no separation, they are together.

I too don't know how your friend missed them! I picked one up each day, it's how I kept track of what we did and when we did it (something I like doing). :)

How sad is it that I never paid attention and I gave away all my maps! Bad combo. I will keep an eye out next time I'm there if nobody beats me to an answer.

Does anyone know where i can see a map for IoA (with WWoHP) online? (other than the one on Universal's website)

The showtimes are not listed in the park map. You can find out the times at Guest Services.

There is also an I-phone I-pad app on the I tunes store it's Free.:yay:

I did the same thing. They actually CALLED me to ask specifically what maps i wnated wanted and how many and mailed them immediately. I had them 2 days later. Excellent customer service!
